I disassembled my motor to clean it up real good because I'm doing a complete rebuild, frame and all. Sent my cylinders, crank and head to F.a.s.t. And all that good stuff... Now when I split I found this.... I bought the engine used from a guy on this site, and it ran just fine before I tore it down.. I assume it's from an earlier disaster.. Will it affect the bike moving forward? :/

Yes definitely not into the boost bottle. I've been getting into polishing, so I thought I could polish up that head.. But I just spent a shit ton of money with porting, true and weld crank, and having Matt rebuild my shocks... Having to buy studs ands rings gonna push it over 200, when I can just get fast to mill it for cheap.. Anyone that wants to jump on this feel free, I'm bowing out.

Another HQ member posted this up and it sounds like a good deal to me. I contacted him yesterday, and he said hed hold it till Friday for me. My questions are as follows.... I have Vforce2 reeds.. is there much difference in the V3's? Could the reeds be bad? Do they go bad? I was just about to send my head off to get milled.. Is there anything else Id have to buy for the cool head? Is that a good cool head? Ive heard folks talk about o-rings and stuff.. a little bit of 1 piece vs 2 piece i think... im kinda in the dark about all this, but im doing a ground up build and I dont want to miss out on a good deal... if its a good deal.. thanks for allllll the help guys!!

I sent it usps. Slowest and cheapest available. The shockes didn't all fit in priority boxes.. Woulda taken 4 14$ boxes to get all my shit shipped.. Won't get there till Tuesday next week.. Just ridiculous.

Man... Just sent out 2 packages today. One was my shocks heading to Socal suspensions, and the other one had my cylinders and crank heading to FAST racing.. Grand total of 80$.. And that's the slowest possible option.. Jeeeeez

I would, but I spent all my dollars on port job, crank weld, head mill, shock rebuild etc.. I will prolly buy some plastics at some point, but 30$ in rattle can is all I gots at this point.

Im going to paint my plastics. Ive been reading through the forums and ive found some really good posts and methods. I bought some Krylon Fusion and im gonna try it out. My question is this.. Ive seen people say they use just the paint, and Ive seen them say they used the bulldog adhesion promoter.. I bought some of the bulldog stuff, but It started to occur to me that the krylon fusion is supposedly "formulated to bond to plastic" so would it actually be counter productive and defeat the purpose of using the krylon fusion, if I used the bulldog stuff as well?

Yeaaa yall might be right, I think it might be on the tranny.. Either way there was only one screw in it and it was flopping.. It was really just a joke tho.. Zillafreak sold me that reliable motor for next to nothing and if it wasnt for him I never would have figured out how awesome banshees are!... My bank account has never been the same lol

It turned out not to be the floats.. A local guy told me he would fix and show me how for 20$.. sorry joker took a q-tip and swirled it around where the needle valve sits.. put it back together and BOOM no more leakage.

Bearing stopper plate... its the half moon kinda shaped bracket on the outside of the case that screws in above where the shaft of the cranks sticks outta the motor

Makes sense.. if i put anti seize on them would they be more likely to back out?

My build wiill be for real as in im going to do it right and to the best of my knowledge.. Jeff is definitely doing my port job, head milling, and shift mod

Yea thats no fun.. btw Zilla you left a screw out of the crank bearing keeper in that motor you built me a year or so back lol.. just tore it down yesterday.

Its not that I'm worried,I just don't know fast they are.. Only bike I've ever really ridden is my shee. Plus I've never ridden a ported shee, and my cylinders and head are on the way to Jeff at fast as we speak.

We haven't raced yet, but my friend just bought a stock 06 rappy 700.. Talking much Shiiiit. I'm currently rebuilding my bike, but when it's done we are talking pods, advanced timing, fast racing port, milled head, T5s... With equal riders.. What kinda outcome are we talking.

I think that's just the flash. I didn't get a chance to look at it tonight, but if it was cracked that bad I woulda noticed.
