  1. if i were to do it, and both were in good shape, suspension if the first thing. some longer a arms and good shocks. Also round house swing arm will cut the stock swinger headache away. then just pipes, and port the cylinders and ride it for a year. but as always depends what your budget is.
  2. depends on the bolt ons, in your case you may get around 2k if you part it out, but it will take a lot of time and a lot in shipping.
  3. honestly it is blown up, its worth no more then a grand.
  4. my dumb ass put paper towels in the exhaust port one night when i had the pipes off, didnt notice them and put the pipes on and wondered why it wouldnt run worth a shit. till one shot out the silencer.

  6. are you talking about the piston? if you dont have anything to limit it, and you keep pumping the brakes it will fall out.
  7. why would race gas need a hotter plug? alky is harder to ignite, hence the hotter plug.
  8. basically what is said below. vforce 4 seem to have good power all around. the 2 into 1 carb is choking you down some you can make it work if you really wanted it to. When it comes to carbs and pipes you have to base it off the type of riding you are doing, if its tight trails and woods or dunes and drags.
  9. standard BR8ES plugs. only reason to really change to anything else is if you switch to alky which would need a hotter plug.
  10. jetting also is based off your carb size, so pick a carb before we give you numbers as well.

  15. dont you know being loud and leaving smoke is cool guys, i run 75-90 gear oil and i took the stingers off the exhaust so its loud. but in the real world, excess smoke means you arent tuned right. be the guy people remember for being stupid fast, not the guy they remember for leaving a trail of smoke.

  17. a factory shock is never as good as one tuned for your setup and your weight.

  20. it most likely is a banshee with the stupid raptor plastics. but should be easy enough to tell. the swing arm is a dead give away as well if its OEM
  21. i made a bracket to hold the collant recovery tank in the front of the frame so i didnt have to worry about it.
  22. do you ride a lot in the summers? ever 2 years doesnt seem bad to me if you do a lot of riding.
  23. elevation level is needed to get you closer.
  24. beating you on the big end or the bottom end?
