Some of us on the other hand ,place a high value on our own time ,and have found that it's less expensive to have a pro do the porting and head design. ..plus it results in a faster bike.
I wonder how many times we've seen this scenario go down?Some says they're comfortable "porting" their motor....but they want to use a generic template. .. that in itself shows they don't understand what their doing. Then you throw in added stroke and head mods/done design/squish...and they really are out of their league.

I'd ditch those carbs before you get too deep into them. The last 2 guys that tried them here had serious issues with them. Some people on here have had luck with them. ...but it's a gamble.
They both work fine. No complaints there.I just like the beefier design of the Mattoon better...As well as the fastener hardware and the way everything is held together better, imo.
He won't gain an ounce of power by switching to pods (from proflo)at his level of power. I've had my trail bike dynod 55ish hp dynod with pods after removing my modded airbox and proflo and gained nothing.
