  1. This will be for my pesticide/herbicide applications.
  2. haha. Chris Farley always gave me a chuckle. ...Da Bearsss. Sent from a van down by the river
  3. And a Tq curve that won't quit. My little 421 Serval is a great little motor...for what it is...but it's not in the same league as a well built 10mm Super. not even close. Sent from a van down by the river
  4. Nobody is saying they serve no purpose. ..can't you read and comprehend? People are just telling you that your claims of 7+hp over a properly build 795 engine are a pipe dream. Once again...nit knocking the pistons. .just your claims of these hp gains just from a piston window. But anyway. .feel free to bash or insult my intelligence , I don't care. I know what I've done and what works .You take the last word , run what you want, say what you want, imply what you want . Sent from a van down by the river
  5. except that's where you're wrong. This has already been done. 18+ yrs ago.... albeit it was on "shelf" pistons off of other production machines. We tried cutting windows in solid skirt pistons in various locations ...guess what ... 1hp MAYBE. Granted the engines were only in the 75-85hp range at that time. So try again . 6. 100ll has a lot of lead in it compared to pump gas. Lead provides great lubricity. Do yourself a favor and get better sources of info. No offense Sent from a van down by the river

  8. I understand what you're saying. .and I used the wrong term "enlarged" I should have used the term " re-timed or re located". The principle is the same though. Only so much of the intake charge passes through those two little holes compared to what passes under the skirt...it is a negligible gain at best. I'm not knocking the changes made, but to say you'll gain 7hp from those piston port mods/changes is a pipe dream. Especially in the context of which it was said ( going from a 795 in a setup LR 4mm stroker to these). I'm all for improvements that'll make us go fast ..New ideas etc. But I think there's more gains to be had in places other than piston skirt ports/openings. Sent from a van down by the river

  11. No one it discrediting the pistons. Or the fact that they may end up being a useful tool in making a good engine combo. ( although the route you chose sounds questionable at best). But to make it sound like improved piston ports are going to add any noticeable power...nah...not going to happen. Fact is they do allow SOME extra mixture in..but the majority drops in under the skirt ..not through those two little holes. Playing with enlarging them has been tried over and over , in all different manners, and any "real world" gains have yet to be definitely proven. You'd find more power gains ditching the stock head and focusing on proper dome design, than opening piston windows ..any day of the week. Sent from a van down by the river
  12. I thought the mower would more competition than your bike. [emoji13] Sent from a van down by the river
  13. haha. And what's even funnier is I bet all 3 of us have faster bikes than your............................................ grasshopper mower. Sent from a van down by the river

  15. Yes. I water it so Juan can mow it. It's a symbiotic relationship. Sent from a van down by the river
  16. Stock impeller already rides on a bearing. Usually the stock impeller fails due to age or several overheats ( usually due to jetting). Sent from a van down by the river

  18. Forget it. You're beyond help. Enjoy whatever it is you do. I'm not going to waste my time. If you don't understand the basics of how the cylinder fills, I don't have that much time. Sent from a van down by the river

  23. clueless ^^^ What do you think is going on in the engine when the piston is on the way up and yet the windows are covered by the sleeve? ... When the skirt is above the intake ports? Sent from a van down by the river
  24. I've ran a few engines with solid skirts actually. All they had was one small port for wrist pin oiling purposes. The majority of the intake charge goes under the piston skirt ..not through the windows in the pistons. If you can't fathom that..I feel sorry for your customers Sent from a van down by the river
  25. ..do you actually charge people to work on their banshee? serious question. Sent from a van down by the river
