  1. All this because the OP was too hardheaded to post a picture. Ffs..
  2. Nows a good time to re mention that you owe us pictures of your alleged sister.
  3. Haha. You worry about constantly monitoring your water temps and I'll worry about more important things.....like actually being fast.
  4. A man be judged by who he surrounds himself with....or so I have been told. So basically you have a " WindyVortex" in your camp. Congrats! [emoji12]
  5. It's ok...All in good fun!
  6. Reading comprehension> RRL. Haha
  7. Some people want a bolt on and go solution. They don't want to modify an exciter manifold and go through that.
  8. Junk...no.As good performance as graydon..probably not. Once again, just because somebody has problems with something doesn't make it "junk". I mean some people have had problems with passion 12 port ..but are they all junk?
  9. I think that's a little harsh. Also I had almost 0 problems getting mine on my play bike tuned in. Took me 3 tries and its spot on everywhere. Sure 2 carbs will make more power ..but this is just a play bikeand I didn't want to buy 2 stock carbs and intakes. I don't know what bike you tried yours on..but my trail ported 350 jetted easy with it.
  10. ...would a shirtless picture do?
  11. Regardless. ..no pictures of actual part....equals the POSSIBILITY of something to hide. Especially when you haven't proven yourself an honest seller.
  12. It sounds ghetto , but back in the day before inline gauges were readily available, we used to make them ourselves out of copper and a high quality thermometer. They would splice into the upper rad hose and the gauge poked through the upper side vent in the radiator shroud.
  13. Slow guys need all the gizmos to feel good. Fast guys don't care about such trinkets. [emoji1]
  14. Construction guy AND trouble with the law? ?!?? What are the odds? Haha just messn.
  15. This. Also, it would help if you could incorporate some of DDQs creeper angles.
  16. Just re-read your post closer...saw you already have a CEL not the DGK. Fwiw , a CEL is a shorter needle than a DGK.
  17. Gotcha. I bet when get them opened 100% you'll drop some on the mains. Also a lot of guys find the cel needles to run a little cleaner than the "D" series needles on cub/serval cyls.
  18. Try modding your thumb throttle and adjusting both ends of the cable properly. ( thumb side and carb tops) Between the modded throttle and adjustments you should be able to open 40s if need be.
  19. Creating solutions to problems that don't exist FTW! A well tuned bike shouldn't need constant monitoring. Adding wires ,sending units , and affixing cheap digital gages to my bike just isn't a priority to me.
  20. Yep pretty much. At least I know it's accurate. .. adding wires and cheapo 30.00 gauge isn't my idea of good mod.
  21. And there's the accuracy issue. I have a hard time trusting anything but a mechanical unit.
  22. If you have temperature spikes that happen so quick that you need to monitor them from your handlebars in an instant. ...you have issues IMO.
  23. I agree. Why deal with wires, sensors, or a battery.
  24. Either way, it's sounds like the best route is being more hands on , and keeping the dealer hands off!
