I know east coast Atv has them I saw them on his wall a few weeks ago. It looks like my Vito's head uses 15mm od (.59) by 8mm id (.32) and about 1mm thick roughly hope it helps

If you plan on getting serious into the racing buy used pipes because you will go bigger and bigger then atleast you wont loose to much money. go out and talk to the racers see what works for them.

I put a set of 35mm pwk carbs together and want to make sure I have the right parts. I found parts in a box with other slides so not sure they were the ones in there but I think this is what comes in them. carb # 70ra1 hl I put #6 slides cel needles is this correct

the shearer pipes I just put on fit great not issue with the pipe hitting the head.

can you put a cap on the choke tube and switch carbs around and see if the problem goes to the other cyl ? I know you said you cleaned the carbs did you look to make sure the pilot or main is not plugged? I have a set of bored out stockers you can throw on if you think its the carbs.

I rode with a guy Sunday had t5 pipes v force reeds all he did is put 280 mains stock pilot and runs a air box lid no snorkel ran good all day he just kept doing back to back hill climbs and were in trevorton pa not sure about elevation but should be fairly close to yours it was probably 70-80 degrees. It looks like the squish band is huge on the dome that doesn't work. A builder on the site told me that a big squish band sort of lies to the motor and makes it think it has more compression but also is prone to deto. So I am going to assume that when people are saying that the 485 cheetha don't have as many problems is it because with the bigger motor you use a bigger dome and that must have a narrower squish band? Very interesting. Thanks

Can you see a difference in the dome shape from the cheetah dome to the super cub dome? If so could anyone post up pictures so I could see what a dome is not suppose to look like.

I was using a link that dirtydownunder posted for me earlier and it said the - side to plug wires so this is incorrect ?

when I check the plug wire to plug wire I get 5900

I am testing the electrial pcs. and the coil seems to be bad. I check the - side to the plug caps and got nothing, then took the caps off and checked again and got nothing,then took the wires out of the coil and tested again nothing. checked the wires themselfs and got .1 ohms checked the caps and got 5450 on one and 5800 on the other. my problem is it runs great but when I come to a hill it bogs could it still run with the coil like this or am I checking it wrong.
