your choke tube is missing..... its a tube that runs between the two carbs on the other side of the carb body from the choke knob. its about the girth of your pinky tip, or the same size as the main fuel line. its a common mistake for people using stock carbs.... let me know if that wasnt it.... im positive it is though

Well, now that the horse has been bludgeoned to death.... twice.... I'll post up my experience. Stock motor .020 over, 3000', fmf fatties, vf2 reeds, +4 timing................. If memory serves correctly this is ABOUT the same as what you were running, correct? I had 270 mains, at 3000 feet..... with the lid.....AT 3000 FEET. Honestly man you really cant always go by the spark plugs alone. Ive been a banshee owner for a little over a year, but have had extensive 2-stroke dirt bike experience prior. I can tell you right off your motor needs to be rebuilt..now... but you already know this. Additionally, IMHO you were way lean. I know all bikes are different, but there's ALOT of experience here, and almost EVERYONE is telling you that you were lean. I honestly wish you would have run it with the 280's just to see where you would be. I would stake my spot-less, untarnished (bwa ha ha) reputation it would have woken up. Either way, leave the "fucktard" "cock-sucker" bull shit on the playground. That is really childish, and its THAT EXACT stuff that makes people shy from helping someone.

dont get t-6's if youre not gonna keep the motor stock. t-6's are better suited for stock motors btw

im runnin borrink R-2's.... they are awesome. the guys that use them swear by them, and i am no different. they are a little weak just off idle.... but then the power comes... and it doesnt stop... period. i also say the bottom end is weak and by that i mean decently strong but weak compared to the monster mid and top end pull these have. definitely rideable all around. they also look really fucking cool... unlike ANY other pipe with the exception of the predecessor. everyone will see them and ask what they are...

check your pick-up gap. also check all the connectors by the cdi. you may have loosened a ground or knocked something loose.......... check to see if youre getting a spark

mine leaked where the stinger meets the silencer, and also coming out of the motor.... theyre not double o-ringed anywhere. i siliconed mine up and it has yet to spray shit all over my white plastics ha ha ha. aside from fit and finish, they are fucking awesome. like i said.. the chrome sucks dick on them and they leaked live a fucking siv. i spoke on the phone with borrink's marketing guy, and he was telling me the company would love to make it right, and send me a new set... they just cannot right now. apparently the company is so far in the red its not even funny, and those that plan on running the r2 pipe better get them now.. as production is likely to come to a hault if something doesnt change... thats what i gathered from the conversation at least. on a ligther note... the power they make is un-matchable IMHO. not to mention its awesome seeing the look on other banshee riders faces when they see these things!!! theyre like "dude, where the hell did you get THOSE pipes? theyre fuckin sick!!"

X(whatever its up to now). i finally got mine jetted right, and they FUCKING RIP. that being said.... the chrome on mine (that i bought brand new) looked like total SHIT. at the time i thought that minkia38 was the only guy to go thru to get them. apparently hes ONE of 2 (i think) places to get them. and he just gets the bare pipe, and has them chromed. either way, theyll work for now, and pull SO well.... does anyone elses pipes leak at the joints??? mine do... fail

bump & if you dont get them sold..... and since theyre in such great shape try this stuff.... i used it, and man, does it hold well..... mine hasnt even chipped under the screws... it bonds to polypropylene, which is what motorcycle/atv plastics are. they are made in a mold with a wax release agent, which hinders normal paint adhesion... i prepped mine with a scotch brite, and wiped them down with acetone before application. http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=373
