  1. twist throttles dont suck, what sucks is going on a 6 hour trail ride in the fall, and feeling like an 80 year old with arthritis, no matter who you are, your thumb will get tired, its just a matter of time.
  2. the vitos kit has a metal throttle body with a plastic sleeve, has the cable, both aluminum carb tops with adjusters, and a set of grips that are good (everyone has their own prefrence) for 25 bucks lower then the compition, im impressed!
  3. i had this problem also, because i grew up on dirtbikes, i hate thumb throttles, and ill go on 6 or 8 hour trail rides, so a twist throttle is a must, while im rebuilding my engine i just bought one through vitos, vitos has the best priced twist kit, it comes with twist throttle, cable, carb caps, adjusters, and grips for like 50 bucks, were as the other kits are like 70 and dont even come with grips
  4. what happened to vegas jeff???

  5. i bought a seat of him, it was in great shape and actualy was the one pictured, the only thing i didnt like was that he charged me like 22 bucks for shipping, and when it arrived the box was ripped open and had absolutly ZERO packing in it!!!
  6. youre head is definitly done, it probobly cracked from being held wide open not moving, doing a burn out. if youre head and cylinders were resurfaced and it still leaked, there is an almost invisible crack there.
  7. there are pics in my for sale thread titled LOTS OF PARTS CHEAP
  8. in dennis kirk i always see this pistons called WSM pistons, they make pistons and topend kits for old two stroke quads, banshees, 250r's, lt250r's. quadzillas, etc, they are forged and look decent, i was just wondering if anyone here has tryed them, please give me advice, i need to know if they are junk or to buy them.
  9. i have a set of stockers for sale if youre intrested, $20.
  10. oops, forgot to post my location, i am in upstate new york.

  12. i love the oldschool look! nice, still rockin the twist throttle, and graydon proline nerf's, its a shame graydon proline went under this quad gets my vote as best looking on the site, dont change a thing.
  13. lmao, im computer tarded, im gettin the engine in soon, the old one literaly self destructed, resulting in me needing new cases, crank, cyilinder, head, and all kinds of other goodies, lol. im on a tight budget and i didnt really have the mulla for a good pipe set, but i picked up the pipe and silencer for 70 bucks, after all, anything is better then the stocker, the motofast makes 4-5hp more then stock and 1000 rpm's earlier
  14. not trying to start an arguement, just voicen my opinion. were i live, there are a ton of 400ex's, and a handfull of banshees, ive riden my fair share of 400ex's, and they are definitly more of a beginner quad, they are very reliable, but also high and tipsy, their stock front shocks are better then banshee shocks, and id have to say the rear is equal with the shee. the 400 ex is also known for a steep angle swingarm, which causes axle bending (just look on durablue's website, they have a disclaimer for the 400ex), 400ex's do seem to have an endless balencepoint, though which makes for some damn long wheelies, lol. The shee has power which is aimed at the more expericenced rider, but once the stock pipes with the restrictive insert in the pipe are removed, it SCREAMS! the shee is definitly an older design and likes to take corners sliding, but is also pretty long and low. the shee has way more potential then then pretty much any other quad out there, due to 20 years of the same design. the shee can also have a topend done for about $220, can you say that about a 400ex??? just my opinion, keep on riding guys
  15. hmmm, mine was podercoated, so its gonna be hard to find, lol
  16. btw, besides the engine, weres the vin number on the frame? i never bothered to check, because i havnt registered my stuff in a long time. i guess i should start doing that, lol
  17. do you have to have it registered to get it out of impound? i know when you get pulled over if theyre not nice, youve got to have a registration and insurance. if they really dont like you, they can stick you with all kinds of bs tickets.
  18. nice 250r bennieben1! love the three wheelers. nice oldschool shot of the j arm shee. they made maxxis razr's 15 years ago? i thought they were only like 8 or 10 years old.
  19. is that an 89 cr250 in the background? i had an 89 cr125 last year, that bike was badass, mine was like mint.
