  1. you're joking right? you own a 7mill banshee and dont know how to tighten the axle......
  2. thanks, and im already getting the tusk bulbs when i order my RAZRs, i really hope they make a big difference because stock banshee bulbs are really really dull
  3. About the only thing i can say is buy a brand new clutch cable, and then do a lot of riding to get used to it, but youd be surprised how much of a difference a bad clutch cable can cause...
  4. Hi guys, i got a set of banshee headlights, cause my shee was lightless and i night ride alot, but at the low setting only the left side turns on, and on high the right will turn on but not that bright and the left looks like it did on low, what could cause this?
  5. I already pulled mine off to clean it out, but i do have an extra set of parts carbs, maybee i can try the choke off those. what part of the choke plunger goes bad?
  6. next question, how did you do that? lol
  7. that looks like my frame, mines got some funky bends in it that i cant figure out if theyre supposed to be there or not. also when i look from behind it looks like either my frame or swingarm is bent, but it tracks pretty straight, it could be my eyes playying tricks on me, idk lol
  8. unfortunatly the vent and choke tubes arnt mixxed up, this is really starting to annoy me, my banshee can never be working without something going wrong, its always devoloping a new problem
  9. well thats wierd, i pulled the float bowls off, and theyre on the right carbs, 1-1 is on the left side (choke side) so i really dont know what the problem is.... it runs with the choke out tho, so its prob a choke problem....
  10. wow, im glad youre alright, but i hate to see rare old quads get totalled, if its a new quad that sucks but atleast its replaceable, old quads like 250r's or quadzillas are getting rarer and rarer, and frames are never the same again i just finished the complete rebuild of my shee, and i almost totalled it on my second ride into a deer, i missed it by a few feet, because in the northeast deer just love to jump in the middle of the trail and not move
  11. thank you, im going to try this its probobly the problem then lol i feel like a dumbass
  12. what part of the choke system would cause this? it really doesnt seem like its working has anyone else had this problem?
  13. yeah, i was thinking something along those lines, ive got to try it today, but idk, i cleaned both carbs really well and put a new choke tube on. but it will deff run with the choke 1 click out, idk about two clicks out tho.
  14. i really need help with this because its pretty much the only thing holding me back from riding
  15. finaly got to ride the banshee after a year and it freakin rips!!!

  16. sorry guys my computer fried lmao. the only way i can start it is with premix through the carbs, then it runs great, and starts fine hot. it has 27.5 pilots, 260 mains and the needle on the 3rd clip, i dont get it if anything that should be rich on an almost stock motor. the plugs are a little black, but not completely oily, plus i can run it with the choke on fine, what is wrong here???
  17. I did, but theyre on right i double checked, and i just plugged up the boost bottle holes im gonna test soon but it didnt want to start at all...
  18. mmm, ive poured gas down the fuel line with a funnel, and the carbs do not leak at all, and i was able to loosen the left side carbs float bowl screw and gas came out, but the right side is stripped out i assume if the left was getting gas then the right was too, which means the fuel line uphill is the issue.
  19. ive blown out all the holes with carb cleaner and an air compresser pretty thourougly, and the float hight is where it was before the rebuild. i like the idea about the pipe plugs in the boost bottle holes, and im going to put yamabond around it to seal it perfectly. im pretty sure the boost bottle is the problem because unless you bend the line down with your hands the carbs dont look like theylle get any gas, so im gonna go to the hardware store today, thanks everyone ill tell ya what happens after.
  20. yeah i was thinking something along those lines, i remember memebers talking about this, and someone had a good plug, i just cant remember what it was, lol
  21. i was thinking about this setup too when i have money, right now i have 450 a arms with new ball joints, 450 spindles, 450 shocks, and NOSS +2 tie rods, the setup looks really trick, and is 4inches wider, 1 inch forward and i believe around 2 inches lower, so basicly mx stance. i just put my motor in after i split the cases, but im getting a few other things so i have yet to ride it
  22. I know, but unfortunatly i believe the screws are seized in place, im going to try again but i agree it deff sounds like no gas. my fuel line goes slightly upward for a little bit cause there is a boost bottle (start laughing now) and it was on there when i got it, so i put back on with new carb manifolds, cause i didnt have a stock balence pipe, but the fuel line goes slightly uphill to clear the boost bottle, then goes back down towrds the carbs. could i plug up the holes on the manifolds, cause boost bottles seem to cause nothing but problems, what would i use to do this, and would it run right? thanks guys
  23. hmm, idk i took my carbs apart for a second time, and put them back together very carefully, while cleaning everything idk it deff sounds like its not getting gas, but everything is flowing as it should, i doesnt add up
  24. bowls are on the right carbs, the choke tube is brand new and on there, and all the internals are new, i didnt measure it but i can feel it has alot of compression compared to before. ive gotten it to run for a minute before, would the fuel line running up hill cause this?
