  1. This post is more proof that you're an idiot. You start an opinion based thread and then tell people you don't give a shit about their opinion. If you want the site destroyed you can always just not log on and go on with your life like it doesn't exist. From what you said there it sounds like you and goon should get together and make your own little site leave the hq to those of us that enjoy it for its purpose.
  2. What are you trying to prove? You have respected sponsors and members saying that it is an option and is fine for certain applications. The pics are hilarious matt
  3. Do they make both hemi head designs?
  4. Is the gas ten months old?
  5. A friend of mine had mud sharks on his raptor. They kicked ass in mud and snow. They were descent in dirt. Probably do alright in sand but idk. they lasted for a while too. We rode like everyday even on pavement and rocky areas and they were in good shape after a year.
  6. If only all of us lemmings were so enlightened or is 35 dollars + shipping worth it for an adjustable plate. I think yes and seems most everyone else does too. You have your opinion we have ours why don't you present it like the rest of us without being a condescending prick.
  7. The point of the adjustable timing plate is so you can advance the ignition timing to compensate for the amount of fuel or octane. Like it was already stated higher octane burns slower so the timing needs advanced. If you are bringing in more of the same octane fuel it will take longer to burn. +4 is what most people are using and many of them also say its a starting point. The thing is that you can adjust carbs to compensate or adjust the plate to compensate for the carbs settings. Either way the point is to make you banshee run a little better and hopefully gain a few horse.
  8. That would be it.
  9. I mainly got the Vito's out of curiosity. Haven't put it back together yet so i don't know if they help or not. Some of them say they are made by wiseco. If you plan on builder a stroker or already have one you cant use the Vito's super stocks.
  10. There is a how to with pics on here. I think it was posted recently or there was a link from another thread. Cant remember but it is here.
  11. You can get the toomey tr6 with all of that for a little over 700. The best thing to do is look around to find the best price.
  12. I'm with radar except I would use a different phone number or email and make post saying you need a few specific parts that you had on it( something you have pics of would be best like the plastic). Its safe to assume he is parting this stuff out. Then if he takes the bait you can get his address and information. Of course someone else would have to go see if its your parts. If it is your stuff you can hopefully get the cops there to bust him. I know its a lot of work but you have to do something. If you still have a vehicle identification number or whatever you guys call it maybe you can report it stolen and catch them trying to transfer the title.Sucks though sorry to hear that.
  13. Alf was talking about some new cranks he wanted people to try out. Said he would sell some for cheap. It posted somewhere on here i think sponsor spotlight.
  14. I just got the vitos super stock kit for like 170 shipped. They claim 8 hp gains but we will see when its done. I would take it apart and get it measured before you order your kit. Mine had ring hang and took a chunk out of my piston so i had to go .040 over. I didnt know until it was measured how much it needed bored. just a suggestion to save you some hassle.
  15. Ive used both had issues with both. I hated the twist when i got my quadracer and after a few rides i loved it. The banshee is getting one soon but the go fast parts are more important.
  16. My dad uses car wax on them. Don't know if it will take care of that but it does get rid of small scratches. Rubbing compound might do it or a pencil eraser.
  17. Do you still have the wiring and electrical from the rd? If so you might be able to change the plugs and be good. If the stator is not enough not you can probably get your stator re wrapped to make it put out what you need. This shouldn't be necessary since the banshee runs headlights and a taillights. You could probably use a capacitor for the brake light and you wont need as much power. I know there aren't a lot of shops that do this but they are still around. If you do have the wiring there is a wiring diagram at rd400.nl. Just some ideas hope it helps.
  18. I would take it apart to weld it for a few reasons. 1 to check for more cracks and like already stated weld from the inside if possible. 2 you run the risk of burning the oil and having chunks of burnt oil floating around in your case. If it is taken apart you can clean them out first. I would get it tig welded too it is much cleaner looking and no spatter. Mig would be fine too though just not as nice
  19. Oh. Ive seen the degree keys for 20. Regardless I Just wouldn't want to risk it getting sheared and doing some damage.
  20. I was going to do the same but found out i could get the timing plate for about 15 bucks more.
  21. Nice. Thanks for the info. As soon as my rebuild and a few things are done ill probably do this or something similar. Btw where all do you ride locally over there? We have several places on this side but only a few really good spots and barely anything for trails. Mostly just those gay ass green dot roads.
  22. The titanium 2 has a lifetime replacement too. They claim if they wear out they will replace it free. But you have to run both sprockets and run their chain. I read about it in a 2009 dirtwheels but probably worth checking into. When Im ready for sprockets Im going to try them.
  23. I don't know much about this but you might check out the ninja 650r. The rears are at like a 30-40 degree angle. Just an idea. Some kid had one at my house and i noticed that. Hope it helps at least give you some ideas.
  24. Did you use a triple diode setup like a car uses? Where did the light come from? I looked at the company website and didn't see them. I might have just missed i guess. i like the setup.
