  1. Nice. I wish you had the option to pass up bucks where I'm at. You see one in our hunting area you either shoot it or spend the rest of the season wishing you did.
  2. To thick of an oil will make it hard to shift too.
  3. You also need to think about how heavy both of those are. I would just go ride and have fun. Who cares if which one is faster? All it means is its faster it doesnt mean its more fun. However I dont think you should underestimate that renegade they are supposed to be fast as hell. They also have a sporty suspension and cvt.
  4. Thats why I said it wouldnt fix the initial problem.
  5. Oh. Sorry missunderstood what you meant.
  6. An 89 cdi has a different plug then an 01.
  7. I know it won't fix the initial problem but trinity has a thing that goes between the plugs to hold them in place. Of course if you weren't having the issue with detonation it probably wouldn't be worth while.
  8. Detonation is when the fuel finishes burning before the piston reaches tdc. It is usually caused by airleaks or running the wrong jetting.
  9. Nice. Just wish I wasn't to poor to get some done.
  10. You could also look at the back of the container it clearly states they recommend 50 to one. I ran it that way before I rebuilt but then decided to go to 40 to one.
  11. looks like rebuild time. I would guess either ring hang or a melted piston would be responsible. On the plus side its the perfect time to get it ported
  12. Go check out HJR. You can get a 4 mill set up with rebuild kit and porting for 1070. I am assuming you already have an engine.
  13. I'll definitely go check it out. My banshee is down for a while though. I knocked the choke tube off and didn't realize it until it was to late.
  14. I would just try the out. No body else will be able to tell you if you will like them.
  15. BTW Im already at 290. I just wasn't sure about how much of a change timing plate would make.
  16. Thanks. I got 310 s to start with but I'm holding off for now. I'm going to Moses lake this weekend and don't want to spend a bunch of riding time tuning. I've never been to juniper. I usually got to a place out by zillah.
  17. I just picked up a set a few weeks ago to replace my stock ones that were warped. They made a huge differrence. A lot of guys use the chariot set up on smaller builds. Chariot says they make a few more horse then vf3s and they are a little cheaper. Btw the reeds and cages will only work with each other.
  18. Im doing some mods and not sure where to start with tuning. I currently have t5s, k&n pods, and vitos superstock pistons at 65.00. I will be adding vf3s, a pd coolhead with 21cc domes, and a timing plate (probably just set at +4 seems to be the popular choice). Im using stock carbs. I will be riding between 800 and 1200 feet. I was thinking like a 330 or 340 to start but havent done a lot with jetting so Im hoping to get some other opinions.
  19. Those are sick. You should post some shots of the whole thing
  20. I know they are cheap its not of a time frame issue. Also if that one will work then I have no reason to buy one his warrior was sold years ago.
  21. Thanks I think so too but I was hoping to find out so I could either borrow that one or order one. I need to get my timing plate changed for the dunes next weekend.
  22. I don't see the point in banning people like him and that american banshee billet guy. they just make up a new name and then rip a few more people off or piss a few more off. I say let them stay with their name then everyone knows who they are instead of having to guess with the new guy. If everyone runs them down and people still buy from them its their own fault. Just my $0.02. Also you should never do business with a bearded guy in daisy dukes. You're just asking for trouble.
  23. Anyone know if one from a warrior will work on the banshee?
  24. Thanks. I ordered the studs just waiting to get them.
  25. I just picked up a used pd cool head. Are the torque specs on the studs and head the same as stock? Is the sequence the torque same?
