  1. PM me a price and pics if you would please.
  2. Interested in the tank wrap. Curious if you have a red radiator cover to go with it? If not no problem, still interested!
  3. That sounds like a deal. I paid $3grand for an 05' that had maybe 10 hours on it, all stock. No spark, if it has TORS system I'm willing to bet that could be on issue, unplug them and go from there. If thats not it, check this page: http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=126595 the info in the articles on that link are incredibly informative. Read through them and you will have a huge jump start on banshee knowledge!
  4. Thats genius! Just spent the money on a tool for that, when the contraption you made looks like it works the same! thanks for the ideas!
  5. That's wretched! The restock fee BS is the worst part! Shout out to the BHQ sponsors that DON'T pull that BS!!
  6. I set my pickup gap at .017, which someone said on here. I had it at .020 and I really felt the difference. I would recommend the chariot performance timing plate, that thing is a beast!
  7. lol that issue is being sorted out at the moment! Basically where the Oring sits in one section the aluminum bent out and broke off. thanks, I'll hit toolman up!
  8. As title says, need shaved head, not too picky on how much its shaved.
  9. Throw some 27.5 pilots in there like the guys said above. I havent seen any pipe threads on here that still use the 25 stocker.
  10. Having to dump fuel in the carbs would tell me the problem would most likely be in your fuel system. Are the float bowls filling up? plugged fuel line? Clogged petcock screen inside the tank?? If your spark checks good I would look at the fuel system.
  11. Basically the aluminum cracked and bent inwards. I checked that spot on the cylinder and there isnt anything out of whack. I torqued them at 10>15>about 20.5 . I'll take some pics for you tomorrow night and shoot them your way. Thanks.
  12. Any Ideas?! This head had about 15mins of putting around on it before I pulled it to do some motor work, when I saw the break. Not sure I'm gonna try to fix it, would just like to know what happened, in hopes of avoiding it the next time!! Thanks guys. My link
  13. Did you put the float gasket on right? I had mine ass backwards and it did the same thing you explained. Leaked steadily out of the overflow.
  14. Sounds like your in this boat: http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/mcy/1696179468.html That is truly sad if thats the price range drag shees' go for. Keep it man, too much time, work and $$ to sell for that kinda price! Super sick bike btw.
  15. Just unplug the 2-wire harness by each TORS on the carbs. The brain box for tors is up on the frame above the left cylinder. Really frees up alot of space pullin all that out.
  16. lol pop those carbs off a few times for jetting and it will take you 20mins tops! I would start with a 300 if your putting the pods on, my T-5's loved the 300's. Of course thats just a start point!
  17. lol Wiseco is taking this one by storm, somehow not a surprise!! You guys that use WSM pistons, what does the quality look like on those bad boys?
  18. Just went through this myself with a Modquad head. Switched the stock nuts with some sexy lookin acorns, traded the copper for brass washers, and used a Permatex non drying gasket maker for threads and I have zero leakage now. Hope this helps man.
  19. Just ordered a WSM kit. This will be the first time I haven't used Wisecos, but looking to try something new. Hope it works out like some of you guys say!
  20. Sounds like you certainly have a 4-stroke piston, or at least the rings. That zig-zag one thats a little bigger than the other two is an oil scraper, not for a banshee!
  21. Nice. I didn't know it was oxygenated! that pretty much clears that up! Will throw some 320's in tomorrow, up from 300's now and check back.
  22. Yep. Have used em in 6 different bikes, love em. I'm sure someone out there, for whatever reason doesn't like em!
  23. Some talk in a few threads on Piston brands. So, lets get the arguments started!
  24. I'd start with a stator check. Mine just went bad. Felt very similar to a jetting problem, but was in fact a bad stator. Hard starting, bad idle, rough running throughout RPM's.
