how far down should your kicker go?
-
ok so today I put my clutch cover back on and I was not sure whitch way to face the kicker stop... i dont know the real term. but I got it on and now my kicker goes all the way down passed my brake lever, I dont remember it doing that. also there is a retaning ring with a loop coming off where does this face? I hope this link works but the kicker stop Im talking about is #1 and the ring is #3 here is the link I was looking at http://www.partforyamaha.com/pages/parts/viewbybrand/2/Yamaha.aspx also I have heard of kick back is that caused by putting it in wrong?

yes... I never could find one, a ride along tool kit! I like it looks cool!

i'm sure the HQ does not condone you running from the cops nor do they want there logo on a bike with a rider who has no respect for the law. its people like you that make me have to drive 3 hours upnorth to break my bike in after a rebuild, because if I did it in my sub, I have the cops called on me. stop next time! cops are just like everyone else who has a job, there are people at walmart that are dicks does not mean they all are... same for cops

ya you cant... before I deal with people on e-bay over seas I always ask a bunch of questions, I see how long it takes them to respond and if they do at all, if there a bad seller they normaly they won't respond, ASI stayed in constant comunication at one point the lost my tracking number to the hose's and sent me another pair a week later I ended up with two pairs and sold one to a friend.
-
Ya I have both the ASI radiator and hose, the radiator is great same as my Boss just alot cheaper, I crashed and a branch went threw my boss so I picked up one of these threw ASI on e-bay the guy I talked to always E-mailed back and I always got my stuff takes alittle while because its over sea's. I run a vector computer and between the Boss and ASI there was no temp difference, and they look the same to. hose's Are good to you can't really screw those up, I tried to run homedepot one but the kink on bends these are pre-molded here Are some pic on my photobucket http://s682.photobucket.com/albums/vv182/mattrentz_2009/Yamaha%20Banshee/ you'll have to look threw a few photos but theres pic's of the radiator and hose's

Clutch cable assembly/lever not returning?
BigMatt replied to BigMatt's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Well I guess this is why you buy a banshee all this great help from a really good community I really appreciate all your help, now a day’s there really isn’t any reputable companies near me I could trust to do any work on it for me. So I rely on the information you guys give me, Anyways I plan on pulling it out I have no Ideal on how to go about this, so I’ll be asking lots of questions! And stopping in at my local dealer for a repair manual. So where can I buy a blind puller? I have lots of puller just not this kind nor have I used one, also what size? I plan on shopping around online for it, so a link would be nice if you got one. And how does this assembly come out? The bearing seems cheap enough but are there better ones to go with so this does not happen again? thanks man! -
Clutch cable assembly/lever not returning?
BigMatt replied to BigMatt's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
It does not seem to hard to replace, can you point me to a blind bearing puller? where to get one how much? seems the best way for me to do it. also what do you mean by the arm? are you talking about the clutch lever on the handle bars? does this typicaly happen all I did was unhook the cable. it will go threw all gears and the motor does turn over dont know if that will help. -
Clutch cable assembly/lever not returning?
BigMatt replied to BigMatt's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
also I think its just something simple in my clutch assembly, I never took anything apart other than unhook the clutch cable to the spring assembly, And noticed a kink in my stock cable and picked up a new one, Worst case and I have to replace the bearing do I have to split the case? how much will it cost? and how difficult is it to do? -
Clutch cable assembly/lever not returning?
BigMatt replied to BigMatt's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
ya but the weird part is it was fine untill now, It worked perfict before I pulled the clutch cable off? so I dont see how it could be a bearing. -
I pulled my motor to replace a motor mount, I noticed my clutch cable had a slight kink so I went and got a new one, Installed it and now my clutch lever wont return after I squeez it down. It seems like the spring does not have enough power to pull it back threw, But I never removed the spring assembly, I took a pic of it I have know Ideal if this will help but if anything is outta place let me know! here is the photobucket pic link: http://s682.photobucket.com/albums/vv182/mattrentz_2009/Yamaha%20Banshee/?action=view¤t=P1010032.jpg thanks

(The fitting that the coolant line from the head to the water impeller) Well I have my clutch cover off and I was wondering the seal from that hose to the clutch cover does not seem to be all that great have any of you out there lquid gasket it? also that short hose can you buy colored replacments any where? or do you have to buy the whole kit? thanks
