  1. a 795 seris piston has a 5mm pin offset, to accomodate for the 5mm longer rod.
  2. all these opinions of a pipe and the only person to own one is lms1977. this pipe started its life in michigan in early '08, before it was ever on a turbo bike it was tested on a stock stroke, stock cylinder, not much done to bike. most people are bias on the 2 into 1 pipe right off the bat, because of previous experiences with different 2 into 1 pipes. no one on this earth has ever had both a dyno-port and shearer 2 into 1 pipe on their bike back to back except for lms1977 and myself. he explains it to be much better then the dynoport was. i know when t-5's were the best pipe, there had to be some people that thought no new set or pipes could be better, but then cpi, shearer, etc etc came out and the t-5 was left in the dust(for a peak hp pipe). pipe builders are always making improvments why would it differ from twins to 2 into 1's? until someone has tried a shearer 2 into 1 pipe vs this pipe or that one or on this kind of motor vs. another, you have a uneducated opionion.
  3. twister crank, cheetah cylinders, think about it

  4. 421 cub 1-5 22'' tire 300 sand 10,900 rpm 15/46 1 - 32 2 - 44 3 - 54 4 - 64 5 - 77
  5. from one michigan guy to another, DO NOT do what hes saying with the spacers plates top and bottum, i cant come with anything else to say as a reply to that with out things going down hill fast.
  6. ^^^^^ these are nice
  7. didnt say it cant be done or that a few havent been fast but its going to cost as much if not more then just donig a cheetah, which is what he said he wanted to do to eventually. if he were to go with the stock cyl 10mm first and all the work the goes into it the only thing that would carry over to the cheetah would be the crank and cases, leaving him then to come up with a few thousand more for a cheetah cylinder, pistons, head, intakes, reeds, pipes....so hed now be building 2 motors basically.
  8. this is pointless but where the zipties connect to eachother (the little locker/clicker) is whats holding the outter race/roller pins on the crank, you can see it in the third pic.
  9. because it says "0" items i guess
  10. no tube
  11. ^^^^also on mine, few hundred more rpm but comes on a lil less hard, about the same hp
  12. gotta figure out what size the nozzle is , get a numbered drill bit set
  13. if your seperating mulitple cranks one after another there is likely sumthing else wrong, jmo
  14. also, the topic should be changed, there is no iron in these cylinders.
  15. id be willing to bet there was no addition porting done to these Athena cylinders, except removing athena name on the outside of the jugs and you cant the the barrels unplated from wsm/athena. the pictures of the website are out of the box athenas with there nikasil. sounds like when he was selling cubs "fully ported" but with nothing more then a clean up of the casting flaws.
  16. Eliminator cylinders are warranted from any chipping or flaking from the port work. RDZ Racing will re plate the cylinder & replace the piston free of charge. that was copied and pasted from rob's website.
  17. bump for the a great lock-up at a good price
  18. C00G4 is just a juilan date of prduction, 70.45 is a 70.50mm piston, the 8963 im not sure what series of piston that is. what kind of motor did they come out of? id run those numbers by t.d.r or trinity see if its one of their custom pistons.
  19. the water jackets are very small on the DM's, it would likely get too hot especially with inframes hugging the cylinder...im sure somer ppl are gonig to say that there wouldnt be any heat issues, but i think there would be.
  20. send it the millenium tech. if it was free youll only be out $20 or so to ship it to them and let them tell you what can be done.
  21. its not my bike but i would imagine its powdercoat
  22. they are marvin shaws, anyone that has a lathe can shave them down.
