almost got it all installed. realized my tie rod ball joints are shot. half of them anyway. Castle nut won't thread on one of them. Damnit Now I gotta wait for these to come in. I just wanna ride

no camper unfortunately the thing I liked about "Dune Haven" is its right in the middle of the dunes. pretty cheap, if its just me and the wife, the studio cabin was $70 a night. If I can convince some buddies, we cant get a 3 bedroom cabin for like $140. The big thing was it has locked up storage for the quads. I like the peace of mind knowing they are locked up in a storage bay. If anyone has a link or place they know of that may be better, pls let me know. Cant wait to hit the dunes. Just need some 10'' rims for the paddle tires I have

hey guys. So I got my stem today, Im in washington right now, wont be back home till tommoro. the stem looks like a good piece. but Im not sure if its +2 or not. could someone verify this for me? its gonna drive me nuts not knowing

So does it clamp to the stearing stem , and the other end to the frame? Also is it worth extra money for the 11 way adjustable vs the 7 ?

Im planning on taking my wife to Coos bay in june/july. Found a place called dune haven that has some good rates. She is concerned that she is still too new to the sort to be able to ride there. How is the riding there for newer riders? Will we both able to enjoy riding there? I dont think she will be able to climb many steep hills, shes new and has a trx 250 lol. I wanna go so bad, but wanna have fun as well. any idea how a - length swingarm works in the dunes?

Ya I wanna get one soon as well. The GPR, elka etc are a little pricey. Of the other styles whats a better brand PEP or streamline ?

I was using Ipone synthetic two stroke oil. smells good, has a strawberry like smell. Everything at my local shops is ridiculously over priced. this was the cheapest, synthetic stuff I could get which was $27.99 a quart. But ill be ordering my oil online and walking across the boarder to pick it up from now on. Amsoil dominator for $40.00 a gallon. Glad to help the american economy when I can should have done this a long time ago

Everyone stay away from Burgard!!!!!!!! Its been almost two weeks now. no confirmation email, every time I call either they don't answer, don't email me back, or I talk to someone and explain how long ago I ordered etc, and all they say is ya its shipping out tomorrow. I honestly cant believe this. I have never experienced anything like this. I used paypal so hopefully I can get my money back. Burgard can go fuck themselves

I have 280 mains 30 pilot. was really boggy at low throttle. put 27.5 in and it runs much better and smoother. the 280 and 30 pilot where already in there from the previous owner. When I ordered the Vforce 4 I ordered a set of 27.5 and 32.5 just in case. It def runs alot better with the 27.5 im at sea level too

Ya i checked for the gaskets, pretty sure the idiot that installed the TORS didn't completely tighten down the caps properly. the lock nuts on the caps was loose as well. which i could see it allowing dirt in. I should have just done everything myself. had no faith in myself at the time tho. It honestly runs great now, and my compression is good so I dont think I damaged anything. Time will tell I suppose.

Ya I was worried about that. I got my TORS kit installed by a motorcycle mechanic last summer. I was stupid and at the time was very uncomftorable with working on carbs. Which I know is very stupid, they are so easy. I inspected what I could, doesnt look like any sand got in the cylinders, there was no trace of anything where the reed valves go in. Comprerssion is at 124& 122. If sand and shit was gonna cause a problem it should have happened by now right? have only been able to ride for about 20 mins or so. Ill be doing a plug chop tommoro hopefully, It had these jets in it since I bought it, about 4 yrs ago, and just today I dropped the pilot to a 27.5 I also removed the overflow bottle, its now leaking a bit, will this stop once it drains a bit? I got a ASI rad ready to install, just aiting for my new steering stem so I can do both at once. thanks guys. It seems to run great now, ill post pics of my plug chop.

banshee was running like shit , took the carbs apart and cleaned them. they were filthy btw. dirtiest carbs I have ever seen. it seemed to bog at 0-1/4 throttle. It had 280 mains 30 pilot, needle 3rd clip i believe. sea level; right now its about 50 degrees ; summer about 68-86 FMF fatty gold series, chopped silencers, +4 timing, K&N air filter with power lid. Vforce 4 reeds. from what I have read 280 seems a little lean? I dropped the pilot to 27.5 and it elliminated the bog. Seems to rev and run great. planned on going riding tommror and doing a plug chop. Think its to lean on the main? input appreciated
