  1. That sucks man, hope things turn around for you soon, and you cant start a new project. Can we at least see pics of the old lady?
  2. I saw a thread on it a while ago, and just wondering if ppl who switched to it liked it. I kinda wanna try it out, but i should prob use up the belray that i have left.
  3. I usually run bel ray MC-1 two stroke oil, i used to get the 4L jugs, for like $60, but apparently they have stopped Making them. Now i can only get small bottles, which are 375 ml. For $10 a bottle. Which is ridiculous if you ask me. Anyways the parts guy at my local shop said alot of guys are switching from bel ray to this stuff. Its safe to run up to 100:1. Its a full synethic. I currently run 40:1 with the bel ray. He recommended doing 50:1 with this stuff. I still have about 2L of the bel ray. Whats your thoughts on this? Lemme know guys Always appreciate your input, take care
  4. Ya i may just save up for a scotts, there supposed to be top notch, amd if im gonna save up 150, hell i might as well save up the extra 300 lol. Ya there 20" rears, plenty of clearence, these are my trail tires. I still need to pick up my 18" for mx. The local track is finally open so ill be hitting that up very soon

  6. Ya im gonna get them Powder coated black in the winter, dont wanna wait for them to ne done and what not, just want to be able to ride without having to rely on other ppl finishing stuff. But ya matching front would prob look better. The A arms are eyeball engineering long travel arms. Got them for $100 from the same guy that sold me the rear shock and linkage. Gonna powdercoat these black as well in the winter. Heres the link for the stabalizer, still really want one. God damn money pits!!
  7. How much did u spend on this sweet set up? damn i shoulda bought a raptor rear shock and swingarm. Im kicking myself now
  8. Thanks for all the positive feedback guys!! I cant wait to go riding!! Sunday cant come fast enough. I already ordered some pro taper cr high bends, now i need to order some risers (was thinking of rox). Any input on which brand is best would be great. Gonna hold off on the steering stem for a while, alot more things i want to do before dropping the cash on a stem. How do the risers work with the cr high bends? I hate the handlebars that are on there now, too much of a bend for me
  9. Ya i was in a rush to get it done for the weekend, so i had to order the stock chain guide. Takes like 3-6 weeks to get shipped to canada, and is usually a ridiculous price for shipping as well. But i plan on orderig a new one soon. As for the wheels, personally i like the look of the T9 baja, us they are much stronger than the douglas rims. Beadlocks are ideal but so damn expensive.
  10. Ya i was thinking of getting a scotts stabalizer, at he time i was debating that or the swing arm. They were both about the same price. So i decided with the swingarm, which i couldnt be happier with. Could always go with a dif/ cheaper brand but i hear they are pointless.
  11. And i know the elka elite with the LT linkage may be a little over kill. But i could not pass it up. $800 for both. Killer deal considering its a 1,500 shock and linkage is 700 alone.
  12. Ya thats what i was trying to focus on. You can have 80hp, but u cant do shit with that if you dont have suspension. From what i felt from just riding up the street, the advanced timing made a huge difference. All my money has gone into making it handle better, this winter im gonna port the bitch tho. But for now im open on ideas to make it look nicer
  13. Thanks man, unfortunatley those are not beadlocks:(. Just itp t9 bajas. I was thinking of getting a nicer grill from JDS, but i dont know which one would look best. Im debating getting the wheels powdercoated black, but im not sure if it would be too much black
  14. So i finally got the shee put back together, only ripped down the street so far, heading to my cabin on sunday. Cant wait to try everything out. New parts: JL -1.5 roundhouse swingarm +5 timing Elka elite rear shock and long travel linkage New sprokets and chain Durablue x-33 axle Tors kit Parking break delete So now what do u guys think i should do next? Besides portin which i plan on doing in the winter
  15. I had that pic as my screensaver for a bit, needless to say ya she's hot. The bikes not bad either.
  16. I live in BC and for some fucked up reason we don't even need a title when buying used. All we need is a piece of paper saying whoever sold it to you, with the vin number on it. Fortunately I have never had a problem with it, all tho I would never buy somethig with a vin scratched off. Wish we needed a title, seems like it protects honest ppl.
  17. Your best bet would be to contact mattSCSS. He deals with suspension, however I don't think he has replacement parts for yfz450 shocks. I have a pair for sale if ur interested $150
  18. Looks good man, I may have to get one myself
  19. Belleaucarl where did u get the metal mulisha grill? JDS ?
  20. Thought I'd post pics of my mx/xc build. Was bone stock/ showroom condition when I traded a 91 civic with a blown head gasket and 350,000 km on it. I think I got the better deal lol. Parts being installed: as soon as swing arm arrives (. Should be this week) JL -1.5 roundhouse swing arm Elka elite rear shock with LT linkage Tors kit +4 timing plate and billet water pump +4 durablue x-33 axle New sprockets and o ring chain Pro taper CR high bend bars Rox 2" risers Previous mods are Fmf fattys gold series KN filter with power lid Can't wait till these parts come in, I been itching to try everything. It's gonna feel like a whole new bike. I'll update pics as soon as my parts come in. http://i1170.photobucket.com/albums/r537/Lyth420/cb780232.jpg
  21. This is too funny, honestly man there are alot of helpful guys on this site. And trust me I have asked my fair share of noob questions. But this thread is just stupid. Who rides and what do they ride? What do u think we ride? A Honda ? Anyways ask better questions, and you will get better responses.
  22. Awesome thank you so much guys, that's what I needed to know. Just didn't wanna fuck it up by hammering it. Thanks again!!
  23. Seems like the only way to get the brake side collar on is to use a hammer and flat head? Or is it just supposed to slide over easily? If someone knows, please lemme know. I don't wanna break it trying to force it on :s
  24. Thanks nasty racing, I got the posi loc part on right, but the capture collar that goes on the brake side, doesn't seem to clip in anywhere? There is a bump or groove on this side of the axle, but how does it stay on? I had the axle powdercoated. Wondering if this little bit of differance Is preventing it from sliding over it? Or once I tighten up the posi loc will the other one just pop into place? The collar and posi loc were powdercoated as well (probably shouldn't have). Really appreciate your help.
