  1. I almost picked this up, but want to wait until PSN is back up, and there are some reviews on the online play, before I buy it. I rarely play a game longer than a few days, unless I can play online. AAAANNNDDDD seeing as how PSN is still down, there won't be any reviews for online play... lol. I heard there was supposed to be a trx250r on that game?
  2. Pretty sure I know who's bike that was...
  3. Okay, yeah, those are just regular emulsion shocks. You had me intrigued for a second... lol.
  4. Could be either geometry, or the fact that Banshees are notoriously front heavy as it is. Extending that front end 2" past stock might make them un-jumpable. I'll ask Tim next time I talk to him.
  5. No, that's a hydro dip, which is also another inexpensive viable option.
  6. Bump for a good guy! He's been a long time customer of mine, and is always on the ball. One of the most up-front, honest guys I've dealt with.
  7. Just FYI, unless you had an IFP custom made, there's no such thing as a works shock with an internal reservoir. I dontt know if maybe the previous owner of your shocks told you that or not, but I'd give you about a grand for those shocks right now if they really have an internal reservoir. Because I've spent about 1200 bucks so far designing ifp's for works steelers. Still working on getting the oil displacement right.
  8. I'm assuming you are referring to stock arms. More than likely it will be the bushings where the arms bolt to the frame. I would replace those before you do any more riding.
  9. So just to clarify, you want him to send you new filters, and you keep the old ones?
  10. just out of curiosity, what else is a seller supposed to do? Did you want him to pay you more, in addition to refunding your money? Now I think you're being a little unreasonable.
  11. I don't know him personally, but as far as I know Sandman81 has had pretty good feedback on here. I don't think that returning the filters prior to getting a refund is unreasonable. Maybe he feels like if he refunds you the money, you won't send the filters back. Whether they are junk or not, if he offered to pay for the return shipping and refund you your money, I would go with that. Get yourself a tracking number with signature confirmation for the return to verify he received them. Being that you are a new member, he probably feels like if he just sends you money, you'll keep the filters (junk or not) and the money. Good luck though, hopefully he sees this and responds.
  12. I say pin it to win it! Don't be a pussy, 5th gear wide open, and you should be good. BTW, helmet cam, and several camera angles would be awesome.
  13. I ran geckos for exactly half of a day at glamis. My old worn out sand shark's were 10x better than brand new geckos. I was glad I brought them on that trip.
  14. Michael, do you want training wheels to go under your footpegs too? Maybe some handlebar tassels?
  15. No, Sand Geckos are by far the absolute worst paddles sold. You will be wasting your money completely on them. They are one of the heaviest tires made, and don't hook up for shit. You'd probably be better off with knobbies in the sand, honestly. Sorry to burst your bubble, but good thing you asked.
  16. I've seen them run on the carrier. I don't know how big your guys' stickers are, but in CA they just need to be visible from the rear. You could probably see if JD makes a billet sticker mount?
  17. Still only at $152.50, two days left.
  18. YFZ shocks will not fit, as they are about 4" too long, and use a different style lower mount. Raptor shocks are the exact same spring rate as a stock banshee rear. 5.4kg/mm. The cheapest option would be to get a heavier Eibach spring, and not mess with the valving of the shock at all. I stock them, and they are $109.00ea. You can either install it yourself, or I can do the installation for an addition $25, including return shipping.
  19. Banshees benefit quite a bit from +1 forward arms. The reason of this, is because banshees are very front heavy. Moving the arms forward even just a slight 1" gives the bike better balance. The weight distribution after +1 forward arms, will be similar to a YFZ450. Anytime you can lengthen your wheel base you will increase ride quality. It's basic physics.
  20. Personally, I would do glamis ---> Pismo --> Dumont. Pismo's dunes are much smaller than dumont, but if you've never been, it's a cool experience to be able to ride on the beach.
  21. Agree with this. Tim's swingers are pristine. Another option is one of our other site sponsors. JL Engineering. He has budget friendly a-arms that are stout, and look incredible. Give them both a call, or email, and see what your best options are! www.jlengineering.org www.stellarmachineandperformance.com
  22. The shortening service I offer is for the front YFZ shocks. Unfortunately the stock YFZ rear shock uses a completely different lower mount, and will not work on the Banshee with stock linkage. If you are looking for a revalve, your stock rear shock is the way to go. I only charge $85, plus a $40 seal head and $5 shipping to do your stock rear shock. Total, out the door for your stock rear, revalved, you'd only be looking at $130. Unless you need a new spring; that option is by far, the most budget friendly way to go. I also stock Eibach rear springs in just about any spring rate you need, for $104 installed with any other service.
  23. JD, I have some factory H6M bulbs sitting on my bench if you want them... PM me your address and I'll send em out. I have no use for them.
  24. I would back it down to +4 to be on the safe side. The reason, is because 93 octane burns faster than race gas, and you might be doing more harm than good. ie, detonating. It will certainly prolong the life of your motor, and I seriously doubt you will notice any kind of power loss.
  25. It's going to depend on what fuel you are running. Typically +4 is safe/standard for 90% of applications.
