  1. Yeah, what the fuck.
  2. The good news is, your package has left Tampa, FL.
  3. Before anyone destroys you for your first post being in the FS section, you might want to post up some more info, and maybe some bigger pictures... He's located near Sacramento, though.
  4. There, I fIxed it for you...
  5. True, they make less, but most are still unable to support a family, let alone themselves. I wonder why companies haven't gone to Africa. I bet there's ton's of people there that would work for next to nothing.
  6. I am going to have to respectfully disagree. I invest quite a bit in foreign manufacturing. As of 2005, (old numbers, I know) the average monthly salary of a factory worker in Japan is $893.00. Hardly fair wages, in my book. The fact is, ANY foreign factory workers basically work for peanuts. Let's be realistic for a second: If every country paid their employees what Americans wanted/got paid, we'd be paying $300 bucks for a pair of shoes, and $250 bucks for a t-shirt.
  7. In my opinion, stock shocks are better than shaws on a bike that will be duned at all. But shaws are pretty, so if you must have them, get stock length comps.
  8. That's a very good price! I believe a few people bought those when they were $93 shipped. They are as good, or better than stock radiators. You shouldn't have any problems.
  9. First off, don't throw me under the bus. Yes, I told you to use the search function. Had you used it, none of your three threads would have needed to be started. Second, you didn't even need to search, because there is a PINNED thread at the top of the same page that you clicked "Start New Topic" that is entitled "How To Install YFZ450 Shocks On Your Banshee". It has 11 pages of glorious information for people asking exactly what you are. Unfortunately, the forums don't have the option to make the topic bright red in color, and in size 72 font, so you couldn't miss it. We thought that by pinning it, people would see it before they created a thread. Third, HAD you searched, there is also a thread entitled "Full Flight A-arms" located in the "Product Reviews" forum... It was started March 27th, and has 11 replies. It's roughly 4 threads from the top. You can find it here. Fourth, just by typing in "Full Flight Arms" in the search box in the upper right, it retrieved roughly 11 threads, JUST on the first page, of people asking the same thing and getting answers. Fifth, No one is "cheerleading". You said you used the search function. You obviously did not. It took me about 3 minutes to find all the answers you were fishing for. This topic has been covered probably HUNDREDS of times. Threads don't go anywhere on here, they stay forever, and (sometimes unfortunately) never die. I merged the two threads that you started two days apart, asking the same thing. That's why you only have two threads, instead of 3, asking the same question.
  10. Well, the drags ended up being a mediocre-flop. Only about 30 bikes were running the hill, and only ran until about midnight. What the hell happened from last year, people? BTW, anyone know who the guy was on the stock frame banshee that was wearing an orange shirt? That motherfucker was FAST.
  11. Buy your damn ice and get off the hq.
  12. So here I am, sitting at the flying j in Barstow, waiting for the slackers. Mainly diskoe who is taking for god damn EVER!
  13. Leave earlier! Myself, JL and his crew will be going through there around noon.
  14. Only a few hours away!! It's only supposed to be 102... psshhhh baby shit...
  15. Keep in mind, if you buy the Full Flights that are built specifically for YFZ shocks, you will never be able to run Banshee length shocks on those arms. You will forever be buying YFZ length shocks... more money in the long run. Also, use the search function. You keep starting multiple threads asking the same question. I understand you're excited, but probably 70% of the Banshee pictures on this site have +2 arms. Just look around before you start a thread.
  16. Honestly dude, they're not that expensive. You can find used Works shocks in good condition for $200-$250. I have two sets that (if I can ever get some free time to finish them) I will have for sale soon. In my opinion I would hold off and do it right...
  17. You're just reassuring why I'm saying dint buy from that douchebag. It's NOT a new part, just using a new part picture, hoping to dupe an unsuspecting person into buying it.
  18. Don't buy from the top link. You can thank me later.
  19. Kodie's were already done that way, but Dru, DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!!! It's hard to tell from the picture how much was ground off, without a side-by-side of a stock one, but DO NOT do it, AT ALL... removing structural material from around the eyelet is about one of the dumbest things I think I've ever seen... Grind a little bit off the mount, not the shock. I'd hate to see you grind on the shock, and it snap off and you die. Just sayin. Or better yet, buy shocks made for the Banshee.
  20. X 5,000,000,000,000,000 There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to grind on the shock.
  21. They have plenty. I'm assuming you talked to Tim... he tells me "I think those are the last ones we have"... call back next week "I think these are the last 10 we have...", "Uhh, Tim, that's what you told me last week." They're 12 bucks each directly from Works, just wait for their shipping fees if you call them. Expect to pay 14-18 bucks to ship something that would fit in a standard envelope.
  22. My buddy bought his bike new from Alba in 2003, and they peeled about 3 years after he got them. They looked good though...
  23. No, the reason you are fouling plugs is because you are either running bad quality oil, or running too rich. What oil ratio are you running, and what brand/type of oil? I ran my bike for two complete seasons (About 20-25 weekend trips), and never once changed a plug. It's not uncommon for these bikes to go 5+ years without fouling a plug. Stick with the BR8ES's and get your mixture right. Problem solved.
  24. Unfortunately, no. They are not rebuildable shocks. But it sounds like it may be your balljoints or a-arm pivot bushings that are seized. If the shock is moving a few inches, there is nothing stopping it from moving it's full stroke. I would pull the shocks off, jack up the front of the quad by the frame, and check for fluid movement of all of your front components. After sitting for a few years, I wouldn't be surprised if it's something else, rather than your shocks.
