  1. if your only gona use the tires to go up n down an icy road you could just use any old tires with some lug left and order kold kutter/gold series screws online from studboy, woodys, etc. or if local motorsport shop has any. or if want really cheap get some sheet metal screws! or... if you want best ice tire get some chen shings or however you spell it. and get canadian screws!
  2. fmxer i was gona say they look like pyramid reeds .. and the guy who cut stock cages... that probably isnt real smart since they'll prob. break apart and go into ur cylinders. props for doing it tho!

  13. back when i was 12 my dad bought a tt-r 250 dirtbike and would take me and my brother out to this mx type track when no one was there, and would let me and my bro ride around. but since i was so little at the time somone would have to hold the bike up so i could get on and i would do circles around in the parking lot. Well i got bored of that and decided to do a lap aroudn the track, i made it about half way and got in some mud and tip it over and burnt the shit outta my knee and i still have a huge scar on my knee from it. and i couldnt lift the bike back up either so i had to sit there for about 10 min. till my dad came walking up to help lift the bike back up! after that i was done riding for the day
  14. this reminds me of when my uncle told me the story of when he had his first banshee in the late 80's, when they first came out. First thing he did was ride his shee down the county roads and tryed to outrun the cops and got arrested for that.. then not much longer after getting arrested he got all drunk n decided to top out his shee at night down the back roads, and a deer jumped out and he hit it and flipped and totaled the wheeler n nearly died. he was in the hospital for a about a month... I've had a lot of close calls with deer just trail riding in the day, i would come within about 10 feet of the fuckers.. but just thought id share my banshee/deer related story.
  15. I was there! and i took first!!!! hahhahaha.. but radar runs same place next weekend sunday the 27th!!
  16. F.A.S.T sells a good clutch.. can either get it with light or heavy duty springs.. $100 but well worth it IMO
  17. i believe there is a way to get that gold off the rims.. i think there was a topic about that on here a long time ago. you use like air craft stipper or some other type of stripper and you soak the rims for a bit and the gold will come right off and you will have shinny aluminun color rims with a little polishing after wards.. might save you a trip.
  18. you would be better off just parting it out... and dibbs on the cpi's if they're small bore.
  19. Im looking for rears for now .. and later on i might be looking for fronts.. but yes I need some inexpensive rears with rims and semi decent tread.
