Everything you said was checked. I had both bowls off and ran gas thru them, adjusted the floats according to spec. No hoses pinched, brand new pingle gas flowing fine. I can pull the carbs off after it dies and I drain out two completly full bowls. So I have the gas just seems like I'm getting an air bubble sucked it. I had it idling before and I pickd the rear end off the ground 2 inches dropped it and it died instantly....

looks like it could possibly be for a yamaha Blaster..

Picked up a pair of 28 PWK's off ebay last week, put em on drove it around everything seemed fine and dandy until i launched it and it died before i hit 3rd gear. Started it back up eased into the gas and it died right away, and it did this about 5 times so i ended up starting it and letttin it coast back to the house. Let it sit for about 10 min. drove it again and it ran great/ pulled hard for about 30 minutes until i ended up launching it again it died before 3rd gear. Now i know that on my stock carbs i had splash gaurds and on these PWK's there are none? am i missing splash gaurds on these or do they not come with any? i know my jetting is pretty close on for what it should be. I just need help figuring out why it dies when i launch it from a dead stop.. took it to the drags today and really made an idiot of myself when it died half way down the track! my specs: dune port, R2's, no lid, dual pingle, 800 ASL, 75 degrees, needle on 2nd notch from top, 48 pilot, 155 main, A/S 1 1/2 out.

would you seperate parts from the engine? interested in the bilet stator cover.

Picked up a dual pingle from him, really good communication, good price, and the packaging it came in was very well wrapped ffor protection! wouldnt hesistate to buy from him again! thanks!

Ya a bench buffer.. I got it from harbor freight for 35 bucks works pretty good.. maybe ill put up some pics of the stuff I used tom.

Paint stripper, then wet sand, I used a little dawn dish soap not sure if it helped any but I used it start with 500 grain sand paper in one direction, 1000 grit paper oposite direction, and finally 1500 grit paper in the first direction. Make sure you sand till u can see the lines in the aluminum all goin the same direction with each paper, then I washed the part with hot water n dish soap and finally buffed it on a buffer with tripoli, wiped it clean, then used red rouge for final finish and wiped clean. ... is this the right way to do it probably not but it seemed to work ok for me! Hope this helps you, and take your time!

Well i spent the day doing my clutch cover and got it 99 percent done. Its not perfect or as good as some of the guys on here by any means, but i thought it turned out pretty good for being a first timer lol. Up close you can still see blemishes in the aluminum that i didnt sand good enough but all in all i think it will work for me.
