  1. Sounds like either a loose wire or heat related failure. Go over harness very closely. Make sure all connections are clean and tite.Run seperate ground from coil to engine. IF everything ohms correctly, try heating them with heat gun and see if values change drasticly. Make sure flywheel doesn't rattle.
  2. If you can get both for $2200, do it. Dunno, I've seen guys whining theycouldn't break even parting out, plus you're bound to end up with pieces left. If it had lots of A.M. parts, that might be different. Check CL to get an idea of what asking prices are local. DEEtroit/Flint I rarely see anything less than 2g that runs
  3. Thanks !! Not as much diff as I thought there would be.
  4. There are also knock offs of the knockoffs. Leave it to the chinks. Even OKO's now have problems
  5. The Vito's were for stock stroke? Any possibility of weighing them with pin in?
  6. I prefer bean oil. Problem is can't run it in the cold. Then I just use Yamalube
  7. Ratio rite, mix any ratio you want
  8. Shit, being a sponsor you should be able to get that shit cheeper new than most could buy used. Just saying.

  10. Time for you to do your own math and research
  11. Pipes, air filter? Have to know everything!!
  12. Check for mouse nest in pipe. Clean timing nubs on flywheel and set gap with feeler gage, check at both nubs.
  13. Worn/broken reeds would allow air back out. Rings have absolutely nothing to do with it. Try a different comp gage. Was this previously running?
  14. why rtv on cases? What kind of stator/cdi? Run ground wire from coil back to engine.
  15. Was pretty sure what is supposed to be, just wanted to see what his response was
  16. WTF is "11882 at box" supposed to mean?
  17. Boost bottle by chance? Do a leakdown.
  18. Depends on what big bore it is. Does "the shop" have an interest in helping the guy sell? What was reason for rebuild? Does it "only" need tires?
  19. Even weirder is I don't see them on Wiseco's site. Edit to previous post: holding out on everyone.
  20. Gee, what's with the forum sponser builders holding on everyone? This has got to be the best thing since sliced bread Only advantage I can see is you could build a real sleeper motor. Stock head and no spacer plate.
  21. Also there is an O-ring on outside of seat that can go bad. Float level is critical. XX-2 on manual
  22. try cleaning carbs and setting floats. Polish needle seat with white tooth paste and Qtip. Might need new neddle and seat.
  23. Is that a typo in first post? You state ball and rod not seized, good shape. Aren't you supposed to leave the ball out?
  24. You wern't at Bull Gap by chance? A good search on 2:1 pipe or carb will enlighten you.
