  1. Fresh fuel? Not some 3 mo. old piss? Stock carbs? You do them one at a time, or do you now have parts all mixed up? Float bowls and slides are different and will fit on wrong carb. Quick douche or complete dissasembly? Can you see through the jets? Emulsion tube side holes? Does air blow through EVERY hole inside carb? Choke crossover on? Float level set? The shit they sell as gasoline goes bad very quick and the remaining shit leaves a hella mess.

  12. Do the carbs one at a time as parts are different, but will fit wrong carb. Don't forget to install choke crossover tube between carbs. Either get a Clymers repair manual or find the download on the forum. The boost bottle does nothing for performance. It does cause cracks on the intake boots, which causes air leaks, which causes melted pistons. Dump the bottle. Get either the stock crossover tube or pvc caps that fit the boot. Install with sealant and hose clamps.
  13. No 2s has tractor like low end (4poke) List up your mods and settings/jetting. It might only take cleaning carbs, setting floats, sync carbs, tweeking air screw/needle to make it better
  14. If head is sealed I'd be checking cooling system. Cap good? Rad flows good? Check impellor and drive gear. What was reason for new pistons?

  16. I used stainless steel pot scrubbers in my son's silencers. Will never burn out, blow out, or pack up/harden. Sounds tits too. Were 3/ $1 at dollar store.

  18. Did you do a leakdown test? SS pistons are almost like porting. Anytime you change how the air goes in or out, you have to change the jetting, or at least do a plug chop/read. Spitting coolant is another issue, unless it's from being super lean due to air leak and SS pistons.

  20. What's the difference between a carb set for race gas as opposed to pump gas? Would it be easy t switch the Lectrons back to pump?
  21. Sometimes that stop gets bent forward too. Unplug ALL electrics before welding.
  22. Metal fatiuges when it's bent. Bend it back, gets weaker yet. Pretty soon it's tired enough that it wants to take a "break"
  23. Ideally, with the bars (or at least stem flag) straight, anything on the side that needed adjusting for alignment should be suspect.
