  1. Ok, so how much time you got on them? Both look the same? List all your mods that you know of. You sure 210?
  2. What kind of oil you using? Ratio?
  3. How did you determine it has weak spark after couple minutes running? Have you checked pick-up gap at both nubs?
  4. Mull Engineering (site sponser) does a stock head re-chamber fairly reasonable $$. Wish you were closer, might be interested in those Bastards.
  5. Both plugs fire at same time, so if it's good on one plug wire there is something wrong with the other wire, cap, or signal at flywheel.
  6. Only if your Banshee floats or swims.
  7. Ohm check both plug caps. Cut 1/4" off plug wires, add di-electric grease, install caps. Check that pick-up gap is good and no rust on "nubs"
  8. WELCOME !! Starting your own thread might work better than jacking this one. How do you know it's jetted right? We'll need more info to help. A list of all modifications that you know of. Main and pilot jet sizes. Elevation and temps you ride at. FYI, Banshees have a CDI not ECU.
  9. Lots of off road rigs use limit straps. But in this case correct shit would work better
  10. Tank vent open? Pull petcock and clean properly. Dissasemble carbs and visually check jets are clean/open. Finish cleaning carbs, check float level. By chance you didn't happen to go thru water just before this started?
  11. The silencers would give a different tone and volume (bit louder). Doubt they would give much if any powwa increase. Actually checked that site a while back, pretty interesting really.
  12. Majority of applications I think the templates narrow the intake bridge to much. I'd give a link to his "purchase" , but for some reasone I can't copy/paste on here. Works on other sites.
  13. Zilla said he passed the course, but said he lost interest. Never saw a working unit either. So in my book :FAIL
  14. Race Logic is no more. KOC now owns it.
  15. You need to acurately measure bore and pistons to determine piston clearance. IF you are more than half the service "limit" might as well do everything right. Even tho new rings may improve the compression for a while, you still have sloppy hoes. Stock pistons don't like sloppy hoes. They get to sloppy, they break, then you will probably need more than new pistons and a bore job. JMHO, your results may, and will vary.
  16. Be sure to let us know how it goes.
  17. Is this competative racing? Or just goofing off? Lot$$ of difference. Dealing with ECATV would be like buying from Rattle Can Ray, either way you're getting fucked. I can just see their $200 tune, next sized smaller jets and advance key. Head mechanic: Ben Dover.
  18. So.................. explain again why you let your drunk "buddy" mix the fuel? Maybe ........... explain why the owner was drunk enough to not know you don't mix "types" of oil?
  19. Not flaming, but how did you cold seize it? Improper warm-up, or over cooling?
  20. Any porting?
  21. OP, you need to learn to look and read. JDS powder coats. Site sponser in The Murder Mitten
  22. Be sure to leakdown test your new motor, an air leak could have caused previous failure. Always check jetting after any change of how air flows in, thru, or out of engine, with plug chop/plug read. Start rich and work down.
  23. If you buy junk, you'll be back with "Why is my junk breaking up at high RPM, but starts and idles fine". Or "Screws broke out of cheap cast plate and took out stator and flywheel" (and maybe crank end). Fuck, probably have better chance of getting "good" parts from Rattle Can Ray. Shotgun parts replacement is usually the most expensive way around the block. Either get a Clymers Repair manual, or find the online manual for the values for testing. Clean rust off, especially timing "nubs" on outside of flywheel. Set pick-up gap. Trim 1/4" off plug wires and re-install plug caps, after ohming coil and caps seperate.
