  1. You're fucking welcome.
  2. Go to technical forum, thread titled "Banshee electrical FAQ" by member Tedd1. Everything ya need to know right there.
  3. Ya, you swap it for one that you know works.
  4. You use different pistons for rod length, you port for length of stroke, shows what you know. Spacer has been under the stock head since I rebuilt eng 4 yrs ago. Tho it isn't much displacement, every bit helps. Had fatties, ran good, just switched to 916s , runs even better
  5. Just general appearance, leaking oil, pits or unusual wear marks on shaft, clapped out eye bushings, bump stop.
  6. FFS, will take 2 weeks to get there and clear customs. Don't they have anything in NZ ?
  7. If you can't see the spark it's probably not strong enough. Sounds like it's time to get a Clymers or find the PDF Manual on this forum.
  8. Don't blame the wife, it was time. Consider 4mil long rod, won't cost much more. Don't even have to port for it. Is it ideal? No, but you can always port it later. My son has unported 4mil using head spacer, works just fine. Can't use the Vito's pistons with long rod.
  9. Clean the carbs one at a time so you don't get the parts mixed up. While you have them apart write down the jet numbers. Be sure to take main and pilot jets and emulsion tube out, they have small holes that you have to make sure are open. Don't forget to install choke crossover tube.
  10. YZF 450r uses extended hubs, adds 1 1/2 -1 3/4" No clue how much those add.. Price wise seems you could get an axle for little more than a pair of those, unless that is for a pair.
  11. If you can't tune two carbs , you'd only be half as shitty with one, lol. From what I've seen single carbs have their own issues.
  12. And ya'll thought Moron G was a Fucktard.
  13. Seamed or seamless tube?
  14. OK, what color is the spark? How big is the kernal? Been lots of suggestions that you haven't replied with results.
  15. What does the spark look like? You have stock Stator? Fresh fuel? When you have carbs apart it costs zero to check float level. When chasing a problem you have to double/tripple check everything. At this point wouldn't hurt to ohm Stator, coil, plug caps.
  16. BTW, most everything been covered. Set the floats when fucking with carbs? Slides in correct carbs? Float bowl with BB on front on left carb. Sure float needles opening and or closing properly?
  17. Holy unending sentence. Call the grammar Nazis.
  18. Did your "simplified" harness work before, or is it a new addition while changing the Stator? Aren't stators supposed to ohm a specific value, not infinite? Common knowledge that new aftermarket stators can be junk. Guess ya need another flywheel to prove/disprove your theory.
  19. Excess gap can cause one side problems, it's kind of critical. Hope you used loctite on screws.
  20. Either it has a leak or it doesn't, no thinking involved.
  21. Reaction time of water temps rising in relation to egt is so slow you'd never notice it before the piston melted, IMO.
  22. Can't be, moron is N.Zland.
  23. Take carb completely apart and clean it, set float s
  24. Clean carbs, set float level, make sure float will shut flow off.. New plugs.. Because of wasted spark it is igniting excess fuel in pipe when ex port is open, but same plug is to wet to fire under compression.
  25. Float level? Needle stopping flow when needed?
