Doesn't take a very big piece to take out a bearing, bigger piece to take out a brand new piston/fresh bore. $25-30 for a Clymers manual , couple hours to split = peace of mind . You can leave trans in case , flush crank brgs , oil them up ,put it back together. JMHO, your results may vary.

Your head may be warped causing gaskets to blow. Have you retorqued after heat cycles? Correct pattern/sequence in steps? List all your mods,temp,elev, jets.How have your plugs been looking? Is it possible there is to much paint built up on rad , will act as insulation.

How"s the fins? Inside clean/clear? Might have to have rad cleaned. How much advance? What gas/oil?

Get tired of your power increase? Or did you get spanked to many times? Going to need Heavy clutch, +6 (or more) swinger, better reeds, adjustable timing plate, coolhead with domes to increase compression (depending on fuel available) drag pipes. Depending on how far you want to get into it , consider trans mods ( lots of posibilities). Just remember no matter what you have there is almost always someone faster . Start checking the drag and sand forums here to get more ideas of what to run. Keep an eye locally for parts especially pipes. I love the you tube vids of racing over there, starting lights ,E.T. board ,racing UP HILL!! BTW, Happy New Year to you also !!

I wouldn't recognized t-6 if they bit me on the ass. Only thing left electrical is coil , plug boots , switches. My guess is that with wrong pipes it won't run good. Have you checked plugs? Sure NOS isn't leaking fuel? Your cousin must make a killing just throwing parts at a problem

Is this a change from what you were running? Up or down? How does it run jetted this way? Keep an eye on how the plugs look. It's better to give up a horse or two running rich than to melt down.

The bowl with the "BB" goes on left (choke knob) carb. Did you check slides ?
