  1. Might be the pic but right tire looks like it leans. Do a comp test and check isuspension, otherwise it looks good. Welcome to the BHQ !!
  2. what do you have in it now? What do plugs look like?
  3. X-2 on jet check. Clean carbs good after tors kit, record jetting and settings while you have it apart so you have ALL info for future reference. Check the sticky for tors removel.
  4. Welcome !! Stock timing plate can be modified for +4. It adds more out of the hole, takes a little away from top.
  5. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=2+stroke+theory http://smallenginesgo.blogspot.com/2009/07/two-stroke-theory.html . First one I found in another thread, second was one that came up on it. Second one is a good little vid on two stroke basics. Read threads in general diss, reair/mod, and jetting/exhaust. You'll see how a problem is identified and solved, and how members are flamed, as you were. At times it can be a tough crowd here. On the "Blaster Forum" there are some good vids by Ken O'Conner on working on Blasters , may help you with general mechanics. Blasters are simular to Banshees, but different. EVERYBODY started with ZERO knowledge about Banshees and every thing in general. Hey, also check this out, shows two stroke with expansion chamber. http://www.instructables.com/file/FCPAPL1F8QANFPB/ . The little arrows are the sonic waves that pull and push the exhaust and intake charge within the chamber.
  6. Stock as hell.
  7. Oopps, thinking of one thread , posting in another
  8. post a pic of both rods
  9. Possibly have two problems. Worn inlet float needle valves. Air leak on right side. No logical reason to have offset jetting. Only not easily identified/fixable one would be two cylinders with totally different porting, Dented pipes, bad carbs, air leaks just have to be identified. Some weird problem with reeds?
  10. Contact member Sloryder on here. He'll hook a brottha up!! You would be better off reading Gorden Jennings and H. Gramm Bell and if and when you understand 90% of it all, then you might be ready to tackle a home port job. It's easier to jack it up than to do it right. In the end it's up to you.
  11. What makes you think it's rich on the left? Is this only at idle or all ranges?
  12. I watched your vid yesturday. Carbs might have been wet, then when the warm/hot engine was shut off moisture may have froze in jets/passages. Try warming it in garage or heater / heat lamp to thaw it out. or pull carbs and take them in house. Drain fuel before you take them in.
  13. Well finda rack off of something else and adapt it for your needs. Or make your own.
  14. Chain Adjusters?
  15. Very interesting definition for Banshee !! Wailing bitch. That would make an interesting quad engine.
  16. Welcome to BHQ young man !! I had to cool down for 12 hours after reading Fearnot's response so I didn't lower myself to his level. You have set yourself an admirable goal. Now you have to work for and towards it. First off your schooling is most important. Don't allow yourself to become a hood rat, banger, punk ,ect. Start with your neighbors for work. Introduce yourself, "Excuse me sir (or mamn), my name is ..... , I was wondering if you would like your snow shoveled, lawn mowed, sidewalk swept, clean your garage/basement." Not knowing where you live, city, suburbs, country, be creative looking for something to do. PM me for more ideas if you would like. Start reading as much as you can here so that when (not if) you get your Banshee you will know it inside out. One other thing, some people here are the exception , not the rule !!
  17. See you're new, welcome to BHQ if I haven't said that yet. My only experience with Haynes is auto type manuals, which I don't care for much. Cheap paper, (yellowish like newspaper) poor quality photos, not well detailed instructions. Might be able to find a downloadable manual here on BHQ or elsewhere. IMHO, do you're best to get a Clymers, well worth the wait and trouble to import it. BTW, where are you? As far as your problem maybe we can help you in the meantime. Give a description of your problem the best you can.
  18. No it won't. Axle will for +2, brake hub for rear hydros, steer stem with modification for +2 , Front shocks. Thats about it.
  19. That's exactly how you do it. Or you can mod the stock plate to get 4*. See sticky for how to. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=137560
  20. Wondering basic rule of thumb for size of CM tube for A-arms and thickness and required thickness for mild steel with outside dia being same.
  21. Also, what did you do to cases and jugs to get them that clean?
  22. best way to do this job https://www.allballsracing.com/28-1028.html
  23. Nice coil bracket. Welding it in place? Coils fire at same time or alternately? Very interesting thread. How is the cost-time to benifit rotio going?
  24. Check Carb Parts Warehouse.
  25. Got a linc?
