  1. Looks Great. Don't know if you can read my reply , but I don't have a clue what you said. Good thing I don't need a translator for pictures.
  2. Being that it's a Ricky I would think you need to get a hold of them for the specs. Or swap it for a known good one for testing.
  3. Gee, no one caught your runaway symptoms. Caused by lean/overheating codition. Either you're way lean on jetting (most likely) or you have an air leak, or both. Soapy water only works when doing a leak down test http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=110585 . Long read but you might find a simular set-up http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=99361. Hope this helps.
  4. read this http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=23546 and this http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=99361 . Get yourself a Clymers manual. Read threads that have simular problems to yours. Very real probability the boost bottle is causing the problem. I thought it was a myth until I examined mine during reassembly and they were starting to crack. Ton of information to be had here if you pay attention to what is said. Also list your other mods i.e. airbox, pipes, etc. Also don't run it other than to do any diagnostic work or you WILL blow it up !! No joke Post back what you find ,we'll do the best to help. Try to proff read before you post, it will make it easier for us.
  5. Site sponsers
  6. The $500 difference is for the new 4mil crank.
  7. Constantly Variable Transmission aka snow mobile clutch. Not applicable for Banshee.
  8. Main jet is 6mm hex in center. Pilot is in little hole next to it , straight slot screwdriver. Numbers are stamped/etched onto them. My blind eyes need a little magnifying glass to see
  9. Most will recomend 27.5 pilot jets with pipes. Has it sat all winter with fuel in the carbs? Might want to clean them.
  10. Check for spark. Be sure all switches are ON. If you have spark then it has to be fuel. Did you lay it over on it's side to do the clutch? If so the floats may be stuck, or junk may now be plugging the petcock. Might have loosened junk in carbs which now plug jets. Clean carbs one at a time. Install crossover tube.
  11. OOPS, my bad.
  12. Says it all http://saginaw.craigslist.org/rvs/2212856263.html
  13. Probably just sticking float. Might be time to clean them puppies out.
  14. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=131445
  15. Look on page 174 should be what you need.
  16. Do you have a manual for it yet? That and a few tools and you're good to go. Read as much as you can on here. Follow threads such as yours to learn diagnostic skills and solutions. Pretty simple machine, and a simple 3in tube keeps it from running This forum is a great educational tool , I've read probably 75% of the suspension threads to decide what I want to do. In fact by reading a thread on Blaster Forum I think I know why YFZ 450 arms don't work that good. Did you get a manual yet?
  17. Choke tube strikes again Ought to ask for your money back!!
  18. Way better, that orange didn't go with the blue
  19. What Tedd1 said. Plus are carbs seated into boots and clamped correctly?
  20. What about the outerwares lid or a chunk of it affixed to the lid? Anyone have experience with it?
  21. I do know you have cleaned the carbs. Assumeing everything was done correctly to them that leaves electrical. That is unless you still have tors caps, could be problem with those, water/ice. You will have to check everything from the stator to spark plugs. Check stator for moisture/ rust. Pick-up gap. Check every connection for corrosion, add di-electric grease on re-assembly. Plug cap to wire connection, maybe cut 1/4 inch before re-assembly. Check coil ground. Test/inspect all switches for moiture/corrosion. IF you happened to go through any salty water on your snow ride, it will make the poblem even worse. Do you have tors or parking brake "brain boxes" hooked up? Hope this helps.
  22. Beat me to it. Smells way fishy to me. Probably has ocean front property for sale in Az.
  23. When you run out of adjustment or it slips no matter what you do.
  24. Unless the rest of the bike is totally junk , pick it up. Worst case senario a total new top and bottom end new $1000 +$400 for quad = running Banshee Could also be something jambed inside clutch cover. If you were 1000 miles closer I'd be begging you for his number if you didn't buy it . If you buy it get a Clymers manual before you even start tearing it apart!
