You can make more than 80 out of the Serval no problem. How much power you looking at making? A ported stock 350 is capable of 60-65 with a good port job and some bolt ons.
How much are you planning on modding the banshee? Also, what kind of riding will you be doing....trails, drags, dunes, hillclimb?
There are many great pipes out there, but some run better with certain motor mods than others.
Welcome to BHQ Nick!
I'm no expert with shearers, but maybe you would have better luck with some small bore pipes? I've ran CPI's and always had good luck and awesome power.
I personally leave all my porting needs to an expert. You screw up those transfers at all, and you can hurt your bikes performance....just my opinion tho.
Not sure of thats normal or not too see through them.
I will say they are a great reed, I've always had good luck running them. I think they run well on a stock port as well as a ported shee.
Re jetting you will have to change jets yes. So if you dont have any jets I would reccomend buying a few differant sizes. Jets come in all differant sizes.... "rejetting" means changing to another size.
The timing plate is a good mod for $40. I've always ran a ricky stator plate on my shees with no problems. On a mild build +4 to +5 is the most I would go IMHO. Yeah stock carbs are 26's. I've ran stock carbs on a ported shees and they have always ripped hard.
I'm no carb expert but I've heard stock carbs are good up too about 65HP (someone correct me if I'm wrong). But I'm sure some 33's would get the FULL potential out of a ported motor
Hit up "NYUK" ^. He had a few sets of pipes for sale as of yesterday. Get some Pro Circuits and re-jet...they are a great all around pipe. I wouldn't mess with your stock exhaust...you will for sure make it run worse.
