  1. If you can stay out of large water areas, I would stick with the pods. IMHO they flow alot better and you should notice a decent power differance loss putting the box back on. I've ran all my banshee's with no box, just pod filters with outwears and no problems.
  2. Still have the A-Arms and front Elkas?
  3. That needle seems pretty fat....On stock carbs with a ported 350 I like either the middle clip or second down from the blunt end. Try that with a 260 main and see where its at
  4. Looking for a set of good used or new CPI In-Frame Stingers. My current stingers leak out of some of the allen screws and it really drives me crazy.
  5. Let me talk to my friend today.....he may be interested both. I'll let you know asap
  6. Get a banshee. The awesome thing about these machines is you can mod them for any type of riding you like. For trail riding you could run some PC's, cool head, reeds, filters, timing, and maybe even a good trail port......that would be a good running trail bike IMHO.
  7. X2. If your looking for more power you need to start with some basic bolt ons first....Good pipes, Filters, Reeds, Timing Plate, Cool Head (i prefer Noss)..... then if your wanting more, some porting and carbs will wake that beast up. I'd recommend calling Brandon or Shay from Wildcard... his port work is flawless. Or any site sponsor you feel comfortable with.
  8. Welcome to BHQ. I have no experience with the 2 into 1 pipe set up. But for trail riding, I prefer pro-circuits..they are by far my favorite low to mid pipe. You really need to ask yourself how much your wanting to build it? A timing plate is a good $40 spent. Get your head milled, or get a cool head with the right domes. If your not riding in water at all, I always run no air box on all my bikes. MAKE SURE you properly jet with any mods that change air or fuel flow...like pipes, filters, reeds, porting...etc.
  9. This is what I use: http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/productDetail.do?navType=type&webTypeId=402&navTitle=Chemicals&webCatId=23&prodFamilyId=3231
  10. I've ran the ricky stator plate on two banshees so far with no issues. I know Chariot makes a really nice one too. Heres the ricky stator timing plate link: http://www.rickystator.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=131
  11. I haven't used one yet, but I've heard the sync tool is the only way to get them adjusted PERFECT. I would bet its your sync IMO.
  12. X3 on Pro Circuits
  13. Get some pod filters that mount directly on your carbs. I ride 100% sand dunes and have never had an issue. Every bike I've ever owned has never ran an air box. Just make sure you keep your filters cleaned and properly oiled.
  14. X3. I run the Ricky Stator plate on mine with no problems.
  15. Giggity Giggity..All Right!
  16. X2 ^. CPI's would wake that beast up . I dont think toomeys will match up too fmfs though.
  17. Its 100% normal. After riding mine for a bit you can see oil on the silencer tips, thats a two stroke for ya I always stick to Klotz @ 40:1
  18. Done it with banshee's and 450's with no issues Its a good way to haul two quads in one truck!!
  19. I've personally never had an issue with leaving cheap 50/50 mix coolant in my shee all winter. I like to start the bike atleast once a month in the winter to keep everything flowing good.
  20. Have to tried putting "decon" boxes in your shed. They eat that stuff, and then drop dead.
  21. Klotz R-50 @ 40:1 in the gas. ATF type F in the trans.
  22. I think some 20x10x8 8 paddle haulers would run awesome for you. I personally only run front sand tires...never really messed around running knobbies in the sand on fronts
