  1. 40:1 Klotz R-50. Break in, do your heat cycles and re-toque the head ....then ride it like you stole it
  2. Hell ya, that works just as good!
  3. I ended up getting some 1/4 Tygon line from napa auto parts today. This stuff better be good, it was $10 for 2 feet of line. Thanks for all the info guys
  4. If your only towing like 2,000lbs I wouldn't worry either way. Just find yourself a good deal. I tow 5,000lbs with my little 3.5L V6 Honda Ridgeline no problem.
  5. Race him and let us know, take a video if possible. Like the other guys said, I think alot depends on traction. Those dirt bikes are fast and light, but you should give him a good run IMO.
  6. Great info and how to. Good job BigRed
  7. Okay he must be talking about a 4mil crank then
  8. Welcome to BansheeHQ...You're at the right place
  9. X2. I would like to see how its done. I want some HID's on my bike, just kinda haven't wanted to look into it
  10. Why is he telling you to get a new crank? Like a 4mil? or what?
  11. Never used HJR (Kevin) for anything but have heard great things about him and his work. I don't think any site sponsor on here will build a bad or slow bike, they all do great work and have their own way of building motors.
  12. Oh thanks.....that was a good edit!
  13. Damn that sucks....You can't trust anyone these days. Hope you track him down
  14. Awesome, I appreciate it!
  15. Is there a specific line or brand I need that won't harden?
  16. Whats up guys, I run a duel pingle valve and wondering what replacement fuel lines you guys recommend? I've replaced them in the past but the problem I'm having is, not very long after I put new lines on they get rock hard and I worry about one breaking or cracking. Are there fuel lines that stay soft and are better quality? Thanks, -Zach
  17. He builds some sweet stuff for sure!
  18. Yes you will need to re jet. Anything that changes air/fuel will need jetting adjustments. That is why your bike ran terrible with the lid off. We need more info to give you an idea on your jetting. All mods? Elevation? carb size?
  19. Looks familiar but not 100% sure. Its located about 15 minutes from me
  20. First off welcome to BansheeHQ! 1: As far as head mods go, you can either buy a cool head and correct domes OR have your stock head milled. Me personally I run a Noss Cool Head and love it. Just really depends on how much your budget is. 2: If you don't see much water I prefer ditching the entire air box and running open k&n with outerweared pod filters for maximum air intake. If you do see the occasional puddle you could possibly suck water having it set up this way just fyi. 3: Boost Bottle= Trust me, the stock intake tube works just as good and boost bottles can possibly crack your intakes resulting in an air leak. 4: IMHO getting the TORS off the bike should be a priority. Look on top of your carbs, if there are big ugly boxes on top then you will need the removal kit. If there are caps with your throttle cable coming out of the top and it looks clean and neat...your TORS should be gone already. 5: Honestly, right now I wouldn't waste your money on bigger carbs. Stock carbs will run well up too 70HP and I promise you won't be reaching that until your ported or running a 4mil crank. I still run stock carbs on my Aggressive Dune Ported stock stroke and it rips hard. 6: Read answer 1 7: I've always ran 40:1 Klotz R-50. You may need to check your jetting and do a plug chop. There are some great members on here, I'm sure you'll have some good mods to consider and everyone will have there opinion on your questions. I would recommend calling a site sponsor on here to order whatever you need.....I always use Wildcard Racing and they are great people. But any sponsor will be awesome to work with, just personal opinion. -Zach
  21. Yeah that should work. I wanna say with my +4 I ended up with about 117 links
  22. The Boss intake and Chariot intake are really nice....honestly not sure on angles and what not. I would call a site sponsor and order from them, they will know exactly what you need. And not sure what brand Jeff at FAST carries. As for the air filters, I ride 100% sand and have never had an issue running k&n pods with no air box. I've always ran outerwears on them, and I think the biggest thing is making sure they are properly cleaned and oiled on a regular basis. I know alot of guys run foam filters and will say they are better, but I've never had a problem with k&n's. -Zach
  23. Sorry to hear about this, like Phelps said doesn't matter if its 5 bucks or 500...you still didn't receive what was pictured and to me that's not cool. Honestly if your looking for specific banshee parts, look in the for sale section or post in the wanted section on here. Most members on here are great people and won't bend you over. You can check members feedback before you buy. I've never bought anything from Minkia but have heard BAD things about him. Stick with members who you know sell good parts, or other site sponsors who you know won't screw you. I want to say he is pretty much the only sponsor on here who I've heard bad feedback on. -Zach
