  2. Man these guys have some great porting measurements....... fast bikes right there
  3. I like the "cut" look, especially for the sand riding we do. But....... I personally refuse to cut mine mainly because they are like new SE plastics. If anything find you a set of some cheap plastics and hack those and run those. Keep the yellow SE's nice IMO. Oh and if you ever want to sell yours I have lots of friends who would pay a pretty penny for 06 SE or LE plastics. -Zach
  4. Mine aren't cut, but here is a guy who posted his cut 06SE on here. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=140720
  5. Welcome to BansheeHQ! Congrats on the new purchase. When you are ready for aftermarket parts I would recommend calling a site sponsor and buying through them
  6. Suspension gets overlooked by alot of owners....but IMO is worth every penny to upgrade.
  7. That's one big post With those mods your stock carbs will work just fine. I still run stock carbs on my Wildcard aggressive dune ported bike with no issues..... Although I may be getting some 34 Mikuni flat slides from Brandon soon. (trying to decide between new carbs, or some Stellar a-arms) If you absolutely want to upgrade I would look into some 28's or along those lines. I know Brandon at Wildcard prefers Mikuni and runs them on his personal bikes.
  8. CPI In frames have good mid and pull super hard on top. For a low end pipe, I prefer Pro Circuits. It just all depends on what kind of riding you do.
  9. Good to know. I've been wanting some of Tims a-arms, just can't afford shocks yet. I was wondering how it would be running the stockers for a bit.
  10. I haven't heard anything bad about the full flights. But for the money, I would call Tim at Stellar and have him build you some.....you'll be happier IMO.
  11. IMO I would atleast run the 20's at that high of elevation. My 19's do great at 5000ft on pump gas.
  12. Right on, post some pics of it. If you need a stock swingarm I have one off my 2006 that only has about 15 hours on it, PM if interested.
  13. If I change anything I wouldn't mind a little more top end. I've thought about seeing how a 15 tooth front sprocket feels. The 13 just sucks because I felt like I was ALWAYS shifting.
  14. No, you can't run cool head domes with your stock head. You can either get your stock head milled.....or get a cool head and correct domes. I run a Noss cool head from Wildcard Racing with 19cc domes and it works great.
  15. I ride 100% sand and have been pretty happy running stock gearing. I dropped one tooth in the front, and didn't like how it felt so I went back to stock.
  16. This was on my 2005 yfz450 I only hand tightened my lug nuts and forgot to torque them down to spec.........went ripping through some dunes and both rear tires passed me while I came to a stop.
  17. Ouch!! Time for a full build
  18. Is it just me or are there no pics?
  19. There are no cons to it. Its really the luck of the draw. If your crank isn't welding you always stand a chance of it coming apart. I've seen banshee's with only pipes and filters have cranks fail, but then I've seen well built banshee's not have an issue...so its all luck and taking the chance IMO. First thing I did when I bought my 06 was had Wildcard Racing tear it down and inspect the crank, true and weld it....along with there porting of course
  20. How soft is the ride with your stock front shocks? Too soft, or ridable still?
  21. Yeah It would be a pain to drive somewhere far. I like that black one (#3) in my opinion.
  22. If I had to choose one out of those four, it would be #3. Drive out here and pick one up...there are some good deals in Utah. This it about what 3K will get you here: http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=14815619&cat=523&lpid=&search=Banshee
