  1. Great deal....If that was here in Utah it would be sold already. Bikes that clean around here only last for about 2 hours.
  2. You will be impressed in the change just putting the modded star in. I've never ran bel-ray but I've heard its great stuff. Something else I would do while doing to modded star, if you don't already have one throw a pancake bearing in while your in there. Worth the 30 bucks IMO.
  3. What kind of headlights are those? Do they work? Prices please.
  4. X2 I wouldn't run anything except Stellar swingarms and a-arms
  5. I noticed above you said you run a 13 tooth front, I put a 13 front on mine and hated it. Just general duning I felt like I was constantly having to shift with that low of gearing. I went back to stock and its alot better. The longer gears just feel so much better in the dunes we have here. I've even considered gearing up even more that what I run now. Just something to think about. By the way, we need to ride before the summer is over.
  6. You have to remember though, you are comparing a newly designed raptor against a banshee that hasn't been updated in a long time. As for it being solid and tight i'm not sure I get what you mean. You can do little things to make it better. A Modded shift star and Modded shift shaft makes the world of a difference in smoothness. And...I honestly think what oil you are running makes the world of a difference. I've ran cheap oil and didn't like the way it shifted and neutral was harder to find. The best thing I ever did was the shift star and switching to Klotz Flexdrive Trans Oil. Just my .02 though.
  7. What makes you want something different, just because you dune in 2-3 gears? Do you not like how the bike runs with them on? I would keep the CPI's IMO.
  8. Damn, I need to find a deal like that somewhere.
  9. My first choice would be Pro Circuits. My brother has had them on his 2000 banshee for like ten years, they are really nice and great power everywhere. My second choice would be PT mids
  10. Pro Circuits are the best of the best for low-mid IMO.
  11. I'd rather find a older banshee for 1500
  12. Shitty day, that sucks about the car man. Hopefully its nothing major to fix. Atleast the shee is looking good though!
  13. I ride at 5000FT and I run 19CC domes on 91 pump gas....The 19's are perfect at this elevation IMO. I even have some friends who run 18's on pump gas up here and are just fine. 28:1 is more oil than 32:1. You don't need to mix more oil after mods, you just need to rejet (larger jets=more gas in your motor). I've ALWAYS ran 32:1 to 40:1 and been great. The cool head won't affect jetting, but after you put your reeds on you will need to bump up the jetting since they will affect the air/fuel that goes into the motor. Hope that makes sense, I'm running on like 2 hours of sleep
  14. I've never seen the Voltric stuff in person, but the pics look nice. PM them on here, member name "Voltric". And there website works for me, looks like there is even a contact section on the site: http://www.voltric.com/
  15. Good deal....run em
  16. I agree with Matt, can't go wrong with the red and white one. All stock and you know is hasn't been messed with. I wouldn't touch that 88.
  17. Ebay is about the cheapest I've seen around. Hit up some site sponsors on here and see what they can do though.
  18. The only purpose for them is to space larger carbs from hitting the clutch arm. As for power gains, there is none IMO.
  19. Wildcard Racing aggressive dune port, CPI or Shearer inframes, Pod filters, +4 timing, Chariot cool head. That right there will make it a whole new bike. Spend the 300 bucks on wildcard porting....you won't regret it. Best bang for the buck IMO.
  20. Call Brandon at Wildcard Racing 435-623-0148
  21. ALOT has to do with keeping them packed. My CPI's with fresh packing aren't very loud.
  22. Hell yeah... I'm jealous. Nice ride for sure!
  23. Looks like it was a clogged pilot jet on the left carb. While cleaning them some sand must have made its way in there. When I first took the pilot out I couldn't see daylight through it, cleaned it and blew it out and now I can see light. The bike seems to be running like it should now....so far so good atleast. DUNES HERE I COME Thanks guys, I'll let you know how it is running once I tear up the dunes this weekend!
  24. I've used Cometic and never had an issue. I think you get what you pay for IMO.
  25. WOW nice find! Hard to find one 11 years old that looks like that.
