  1. Nice find!!! Its nice to see a well taken care of banshee.
  2. Yes, clockwise is richer couterclockwise is leaner. Here is a good read about jetting. Q#10 is focused on air screws. http://www.dfn.com/agservices/jetfaq.html
  3. My wife says sex takes her headaches away....good thing she gets headaches alot
  4. I normally run mine between 1 and 1 1/2.
  5. Wildcard Racing should have them in stock, and I'm sure they ship to canada. There link is below my sig
  6. Stock carbs I assume? I run at about 5000FT.....aggressive dune port, CPI's, vforce, no air box W/pods...etc. I run 310 mains to give you an idea. X2 with Phelps, at that elevation you will be smaller mains than me.
  7. For that price I wouldn't run those on my bike...You get what you pay for, but that's just my .02 Hit up "MattSCSS" on here......he will tell you exactly what you need.
  8. Lots of great people and info here
  9. They run hot....I've done a larger radiator, chariot impeller, mull impeller gear, engine ice....etc. They still like to run warm, just make sure you are jetted correctly and you'll be fine. Once your water temps reach about 210-220 I would shut it down.......you dont want to melt your motor down.
  10. Instead of fuel, just run straight octane booster...... that's all you need and you'll beat everything
  11. I put the Tusk bulbs in and I'm pretty impressed. Not like an HID conversion, but alot better than stock.
  12. 1Both kick ass.... I run CPI's, but the Shearers are awesome too! Like said above, ALOT depends on motor mods and porting.
  13. HJR is in California. Wildcard Racing is here in Utah. Two great options that are close to you
  14. X2...I would say 70HP or so. Bigger carbs will give you the motors full potential though. I've been running stock carbs on my Wildcard Racing ported stock stroke and it runs awesome (about 60-65HP). Going to upgrade to some 34mm Mikuni Flatslides though so I can see this bikes real potential.
  15. I've never ran anything except pods with outerwears...wouldn't even consider anything else. And if clamped on correctly, you will not have them fall off.
  16. My chrome plated boost bottle added 15 HP......and its because of the chome
  17. Welcome to BHQ! What you want to do is start with all your basic bolt ons.......Pipes, Filters, Adjustable Timing Plate, Cool Head or Milled Head, Reeds...etc. When you are ready to buy I would call a site sponsor on here, or you could even find some great deals from other members in the for sale section. Find you some nice used pipes on here, and throw some air filters on. Just those two things will make your bike a whole new beast. ANYTHING you do that changes the air/fuel....you need to re-jet. To suggest some good all around pipes too you, I really like Pro Circuits. They have great low end, but they rip really hard on top. I personally run CPI's. CPI's don't have near the low end as the pro circuits, but mid to top the pc's don't even compair to the CPI's. Lots of stuff to think about and lots of good info and reading on here. Everyone has there own opinion on what part is better.
  18. Looks like I'll do the 10x6's....those look nice I would rather be a little wider than too narrow.
  19. Okay good to know. I was thinking about doing the 10x5, but if the 10x6 isn't too wide then maybe I'll get those. Any pics of the 10x6's?
  20. Only chain I would buy: http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/productDetail.do?navType=type&webTypeId=36&navTitle=Drive&webCatId=9&keyword=regina+chain&prodFamilyId=11961
  21. Sounds like you need new pipes then.....?!?
  22. I did ALOT of research before buying a new chain on my banshee, I ended up getting a Regina Chain and couldn't be happier. The quality is like no other chain I've ever ran, and it hasn't even stretched. From what I've read alot of drag racing guys use Regina Chains...so they've got to be good IMO. Here is what I run: http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/productDetail.do?navType=type&webTypeId=36&navTitle=Drive&webCatId=9&keyword=regina+chain&prodFamilyId=11961
  23. Great seller guys. Don't hesitate to buy from him
  24. Welcome to BHQ! X2 on pics.....lets see this banshee you speak of......
  25. Three options: 1) Find some angled intakes and hope that works 2) File that nut down 3) Get reed spacers to move the carbs back I think the spacers would probably work the best.
