  1. They work great normal scratchs on them for a 95. I'll post pics if you want.
  2. yeah get me some pics. I could ship it tues. It would be coming from Utah so don't know if it would make it by Fri.
  3. Ok what kind of shape are the shocks in? How old and off what year?
  4. If you don't have this big hunk of metal on top of your carb caps then your TORS are gone. If you want to get rid of your twist throttle you can trade me for my thumb throttle. If your twist throttle isn't to beat up. We would just need to trade the throttles and cables as long as your tors are already gone. If not then you would need new caps.
  5. The first thing I would check with your idling problem is make sure when he removed the TORS for the twist throttle that he installed the idle screw kit. Alot of guys don't and adjust the idle by the cable. That is what the dip shit that I bought mine from did. So look on both carbs for a gold screw with a lock nut on the outsides. Oh and if you want to get rid of the twist trottle I may be interested in trading for my thumb throttle.
  6. I love the way that looks no seams very clean! I would love to try that but with all gripper anyone know where you can find the gripper fabric?
  7. Is that price shipped?
  8. Too bad you don't live closer I would love to have you powder coat my springs, frame, a arms and I assume you can pc plastic. I would like to see the pics when you are done.
  9. Wow your wife must love you more than mine loves me! Mine complains about how much I pay for spark plugs.
  10. PC will hold up huh? How long? I guess that is alot cheaper than new springs. Oh and anyone know how much to rebuild a rear shock? Mine is leaking quite a bit.
  11. Anyone know the best way to paint springs? I'm guessing you need to do something special with all the flexing wouldn't most paint crack and flake off?
  12. I'll be damned! Your right $2.09 at auto zone. See!! Thanks!!! That will help me out alot in this tough economic time.
  13. I never thought to check auto zone. I've been getting screwed by the local Yamaha dealer.
  14. Oh and forgot to mention I guess this guy has a whole bunch for this cheap.
  15. Found these ngk spark plugs on ebay I'm guessing they will work, stock # doesn't match up with ngk's website.Click Here!
  16. I think you should run it with and without the front bumper.
  17. x2 for the z400 sounds like your not on it all the time. Banshees are for being on it all the time and z400's are awesome for trails my dad has one and it is great on trails. Not to impressed with 400ex's though my dad had one of those as well way under powered z400 blows it away.
  18. I don't care if people have them or not I still have mine just saying don't need one. It's just personal preference. Yeah it can avoid breaking something else, so maybe we should just put big old tires all the way around the quad so nothing gets damaged. Even with the bumper on the mounts are attached to the frame so it can still bend your frame. The bumper only helps for very slow speed collisions. Like I said I have one on for now but thats just cause I can't decide which way looks better.
  19. Why do you need a bumper it's a sport quad? It's like putting a big steel bumper on a corvette.
  20. How did it all of a sudden get tight? Chains don't usually shrink. You sure your chain adjustment isn't just off? See if you can bring your carrier forward. Or you could always lose a tooth on one of your sprockets if you were thinking of changing your gearing. Hate to throw away a perfectly good chain.
  21. If you bored it I hope you got the bigger pistons for the bigger bore.
  22. Sent!
  23. I would do all your seals while it is apart and might as well do the top end too.
  24. Sounds like a crank seal.
