Was wondering if anyone knows if it is ok to store my banshee, lt250r and eiger standing up on their ass end on rear tires and bumper? I'm running out of room in my garage thought that would free up some space.
Dude if you don't like the way your banshee looks then don't put a pic in your sig that is an option better than a pic of someone elses banshee.
oh and lilmegill I've been diggin on you avatar.
I was just wondering if it would jack up a port job on the exhaust side cause of that thing they do on the exhaust side. Thats what mine did shattered sucked ass. Isn't that little cut out a way of cheating getting a port job on stock jugs? If so that would be bad with a port job.
Well I don't want to bore everytime I need to redo my top end or the jugs won't last very long so I guess from now on I will check cylinder to piston gap when I do my topend. Thanks
So if your not machining your jugs and just replacing wornout pistons how do find the right one or just replace my piston with a new one of the exact same make and size?
I could give a shit less what piston I am running as long as it doesn't break up on me and have had great luck with wiseco. That is why I recommended wiseco.
My bad didn't know I had to do that thought stock size was stock size. Well at least I got it right the second time. I don't know as much as half the people on here and that is why I am on here. I try to help people when I can but I have only been working on four wheelers for a couple of years 5 at the most and only my own and my dads. So through my own experiences I try to help where I can. Isn't that what this site is all about?
Oh my hell no that does not say wiseco is better is says just because the are made by same company does not mean that they are as good as the other. So on the fact the same company makes both only that does not make vito the same as wiseco. Here you go in reverse order just cause wiseco is made by wiseco doesn't mean wiseco is as good as vito's made by wiseco. Happy?
Don't think that is why my skirt broke cause I just went up on size and had to bore it to fit. Went up a size due to scratches from broken piston. It was stock bore at the time replaced stock pistons honed cylinders replaced with vito's and then bought new pistons wiseco's and sent them with the juggs to the machinist for proper fit.
I never said it is better I said I recommend wiseco and said piston shouldn't make noticeable power difference. They are totally different pistons. I had a bad experience with vito pistons skirt shatering early within one season don't know why it did. Then a wiseco in same engine has lasted twice as long. So I share my experience and recommend wiseco to vito alot of others would do the same. Then someone says wiseco makes vitos pistons. Then I say they look different to me and they are they use vito's design turns out. So I say just because one piston is made by the same company does not make them equal. Sorry forgot to hold your hand. Let me know if you would like me to break it down even more than that.
Really your going to ask that? Just cause wiseco is making someone elses design doesn't mean it as good as wiseco's own piston. If you still don't get it I can hold your hand and take you through it a little slower.
Ok good to know. So they are not the same so why would I care if wiseco makes them they are not the same. I'm sure wiseco doesn't want to make someone elses pistons better than their own. I had a vito's and skirt shattered jacked up my crank and my wiseco has lasted longer already twice the hours.
Just think wiseco makes them is a wierd response if they are totally different pistons.
