  1. Dude I'm guessing this must be your first two stroke. You just got to keep those rpm's up don't ride it like a grandpa rev that bitch she can take it. Oh and it doesn't want to start out in 2nd then don't start in 1st or get gears. I droped a tooth in the front cause I like acceration over top end I probably could start out in 3rd but I don't. Oh and for mods I just did mine and I was right in your price range. I did a dune port, wiseco pistons, hotrod crank, cool head, gears, and luckly I had t5's on it when I bought it and I love it. I needed that power coming from my cr250 and cr500 got hurt to many times mx track now I'm on 4 wheels. I am loving it thought got to love the dunes on a banshee. Sorry got rambling on just my 2 cents
  2. Ok can anyone tell me why when I race my friend on his honda 450 on my banshee why it is that on flat he stays a half a bike ahead of me, until i pull 6th then i run away. Then when we race up Sand Mountain at the dune I give him a head start of almost halfway up the damn mountain. I will go flying past him in a wheelie. Whats up with that such a huge difference with the hill and the flat? I would smoke him on both but the weight difference my bike and me we are over 80 pounds heavier than him and his bike. Diet time I guess
  3. mine did that when I had a bent rim and so did some of my cars
  4. right on i'll check maybe I forgot to hook that up when I put the motor back in thanks dude!
  5. I'll have to check those float needles that could be the problem I just replaced the other one cause it leaked all the time. Oh and yes would be willing to part with it I was planning on ebaying the old parts since they all work fine.
  6. Thanks guys now I'm not worried that something is jacked up. I was hoping I could then we can fit more wheelers in the toyhauler oh well
  7. Thanks guy for all the input. I was running it for a little bit after shuting the fuel turned off but not till out of fuel cause I hear that was bad. It helped but still had a little puddle from that. I found some 06 carbs today that come with the swing arm, carrier, bearings and axle for $200 so I think I'll go that route since mine is a 95 it wouldn't hurt to replace all of those especially since I'm a jumper.
  8. Yeah I'll have to try that and i just picked up some stock carbs for $40 maybe between 4 carbs I can make 2 good ones
  9. Thanks man. So are just not supposed to stand them up on there ass end then?
  10. any ideas would be great my problem is if I leave my fuel on when storing my banshee it will leak fuel from one carb. Ok here is the wierd part I could sit there for hours and nothing leaks but days later sure as shit there is a puddle of fuel under my banshee. Don't know if temp changes could cause that just thought was way wierd and my dad will not let me put my banshee in his toy hauler till I fix it.
  11. Question for you guys, I stood my banshee up on its ass end to clean underneath. Is it normal for the gear oil to leak out of banshees when you do that? I'm guessing it's coming out of a vent.
