  1. What is done when moding the shift shaft
  2. eccentric bolt is the one that goes through the shift shaft. It adjusts it up and down . If not set correctly it will not allow you to move the drum far enough to shift properly at all times. Did you ride it yet. The gears need to be moving in order to shift properly
  3. No not yet been out of town working for the last 6 months but i am gonna give this guy a shot and see what his work is like
  4. i would like some info on this also
  5. Need a lil more info. temp elevation. Could need airscrews tweeked a lil. i run 25 pilots with pc's at sea level all year around
  6. Dont even worry about the size and thread pitch cause it is a special nut. OEM Part. It is recessed to go over the splines and hold the front sprocket so if you use a reg nut you wont be able to tighten your sprocket it will move back and forth. Def not a good idea
  7. I am gonna be changing over to blue plsatics. There is not a lot of full sets for sale that are not cut atleast up front. I am thinking of going with a race cut on the front , I do like the look but I get into some muddy shit from timt to time. Do you think I will get covered in mud any worse without the fronts. i would never go withou the back but just wondering if the fronts would make a huge diff. Also i ride without a lid on airbox so I try to avoid all the deep soupy stuff and water
  8. Sounds like your pickup coil is not gapped correctly.Use a business card between the pickup and the node on flywheel to set the gap. It is very rare that the coil goes bad
  9. I can tell you not to get the parst unlimited chain. I am stock with pipes and stretch them to hell in a few rides.
  10. When your power bands break they cause hard starting

  13. hasnt happened to me ...yet. but I dont see anyone saying they hit the brakes. If you r in a higher gear I thought the brakes would probably bring it down and shut it off. Am I wrong
  14. I agree very nice piece, i will also be getting there head and thinking about the reed cages.
  15. i am from md but definetly down . i been wanting to get up there ne way. April is def a lot more promising plus I am working in Tex rite now
  16. The choke richens up the air/fuel mixture so by you running it on choke for 5 min it could have been loading that cyl up with a lot of extra fuel that didnt get burned. Mine always looks rich on idle anyway. i would take her for a good ride and see what happens. if its still spitting a lot of oil clean carbs check jetting and silencer packing.
  17. That definetly looks like some bullshit attempt to get rid of the original numbers.
  18. dont have to split cases just pull clutch cover and outer pressure plate to install
  19. As soon as you take that clutch cover off you will prob see a broken gear or peices of it. could be kick start idler
  20. thats a smokin deal
  21. Yeah def a future build you know it never stops with these toys

  23. If he didnt mention port work and or stroker then it aint no where close to 60
  24. Congrats on the pickup. i would definetly put new gas and clean the carbs and airfilter really good. Totally disasemble the carbs jets and all use carb cleaner and compressed air.
