What can I do to keep the motor from turning while I take the flywheel nut loose. I dont have a holder and the motor is outof the frame already. The sprocket nut and clutch bos nuts also. I am just trying to get it apart so it can go back together . I should have ordered one with my parts but was not thikin
Before ne one goes off on me telling me to buy a clymers and read it I already have one on its way. I have to put new crank seals in. So I was wondering what specialty tools I might need. I have a flywheel puller. You dont need a case splitter or puller for banshees. Do I need a clutch holder? What size sockets am I gonna need for the big shit. I got all the basic stuff just want to have everthing I need so when i start tearing down i dont have to stop
I just went back out to fuck wit my bike. Checked coolant and I am full so that means the water pump
seal should be good right???? So i go forhort ride and find out my rear shock is blown.
Ne way cant ride too hard like that . I spin around get on it a lil and
blow all kinds of oil out the overflow.
I pulled the stick when I got to my house and was noting on it. i just topped it off
before leaving. So this is def gonna be the crank seals ...correct?????????
I got a set of pc pipes and a set of pc head pipes only. The full set is painted black with high temp. Thry r in great shape maybe one small ding. Also I have some head pipes that r kinda rusty nothing deep though, hit me uo if ur interested
So I was out riding today and went for a nice lil trip up the tracks. I was cruising 3rd and 4th with a decent load on the motor. My temp got up to 210. Wich is not normal but I dont ever really have a load on it for that long. It is full of water and the temps here were at about 75. It just seems high to me . Is it ok?
With the stock lights can I just pick some up from an auto parts store or are they only availible from cycle places?
If so does ne one know what part number thet are?
I have heard of actually moving the coolant too fast. it wont pick up the heat and have enough dwell time in rad to disperse it. Not saying that this is what you r doing just asking if this is or can be an issue in a banshee?
I think its a gret product none the less and the cover is nice as well I will def be picking one up . Actually been waiting for it since I seen post about one coming soon.
Do you guys plan on making a head?
One that diverts water down into the cylinders would be awsome. I saw a add on for a pro design one but have heard very little about it
