I got the same set up. Mx hardcore 4 mill port from hjr. 28 Pwk . Knn no lid but I'm cunning pcs. I'm at 150 rite now and that's safe for winter riding. Kevin told me to run 145. 48. For summer.
I run 14-40 on a 4 mill hardcore mx port with 28's. Still have good top speed and it pulls good from down low. I really like it. Don't have to slip the clutch a lot either. I think your best bet would be to get some smaller carbs. If you still have your stockers throw them on just to see how you like it. Then go from there
I used one for a while and it does work but the needle bounces too much and they go bad quickly. I bought a trail tech digital temp gauge and love it . The cheap autozone ones are 20 bucks then you gotta spend about 15-20 bucks on the brass fittings to hook it all up. So its cheaper and easier to go with the tt. TT comes with the splice and everthing needed to install
Went for a ride yesterday and this is the first time I've felt this happen. I was on asphalt getting into it pretty good. When I hit 6th and let the clutch out getting back on the throttle I felt a slight jumping feeling. Kinda like the clutch was slipping and grabbing again. My chain is adjusted correctly, fluid is clean and fresh. Whenever I felt a clutch slip it reved and didnt go any where. In this situation the motor sounds good but I feel it. Just trying to get some ideas on what to look for.
I am trying to find a set of ball joints for there a arms. I can't find anything on there site about replacement parts . You guys have any idea of where I can get them . Or is there another brand I can use that will work ? It's the old style arms if that matters
Looking for some feed back guys. I really like the stainless braided look but don't know how they hold up. Also I've seen some post about after market cables being too long or short. Is stock the best option.
