  1. There is two ways to mount it. It clearly explains both ways in the instructions he sends you. I mounted mine with the higher clearance and have had no issues even after bottoming the frame out on shit
  2. I needed one when i had my stock carrier and changed sprockets . I could not get a good adjustment it was either too loose or too tight so I ran it loose with the tensioner and it worked fine.
  3. I have one. It is a very nice piece, quality and very funtional. wOULD DEFINETLY recomend it.
  4. 2300 for just the roller?
  5. Race fuel will do nothing for you unless you r motor needs it because of high compression and advanced timing
  6. stock stroke or 4 mill. If your stock your fine to run pump gas . I got the same set up with a 4 mill and i run 50/50
  7. Yes. But other domes no problem
  8. This is the second time it has happened and both times its been on the left cylinder. I do know how to correctly install the o-rings. I use plenty of grease to keep them seated . I also torque to the correct specs. in proper order and don't over tighten. My set up is 4 mill mx port . Domes cut by same guy who did port job . Site sponsor here. Chariot head 21 cc domes running a 50/50 mix. Jetting is a tad rich but very close. No signs of deto. The viton o-ring on the left cylinder will get a thinspot in it and allow water into the cylinder this has happened twice since I have had these higher compression domes. Prob bout six months apart. I'm gonna try it one more time then if it does it again I know I def got a prob somewhere. Any suggestions on where to look Possible things that may be causing this ?
  9. When you torque those cases together most of the sealant will be pushed out. There will be very little on hjr actual mating surfaces of the cases .
  10. I want one!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. What are they set up for. Weight and riding style. Will you separate?
  12. That's definitely different. If it where closer I'd buy just for the shock factor.
  13. My pesonal choice is the chariot. It's a very nice looking one piece head and you don't have to change studs. Plus less o rings to leak.
  14. I hear what you sayin about r&d but what I am looking for is somthing exactly like what you did . I'm looking for a bracket that will allow us to bolt up the yfz caliper without chopping it up . I do like the smaller disk idea for clearance though .
  15. That's what I'm talkin about.
  16. Got the full fronts. Calipers and master cylinder and braided lines. sometimes I need some more stopping power . These Banshees do well over a hundred mph. LOLOLOLOL
  17. This has been said thousands of times before.... Kevin is awesome. Love my 4 mill mx hardecore port job
  18. Very true but when I ride someone else bike and there's something better about it I want to make mine as good or better. I know the banshee is ancient but nothing does for me what shee does. So if I can make her better I will or at least try.
  19. I have not looked at it too close but it can't be too bad . I almost bought a rear caliper from a yfz just to see what it would take to do it . Who ever would like to take on this task I will be the first to purchase one .
  20. I run castor 927 . Don't have any complaints . I hav'nt had any trouble with rings sticking or excessive build up either . I've been in my top end twice since I built this motor . One time to change domes and once because an o-ring blew and top looks great . Prob been close to two years so I'm happy with my results so far .
  21. So I have been thinking lately that us banshee owners need an updated rear caliper. We got the fronts from the yfz no prob. I think its a great idea to make a bracket that fits round house carriers that will allow us to run the newer dual piston caliper for the rear also. What do you guys think? I'im sure if we show some interest one of our great sponsors will take care of this for us.
