  1. There was no assumptions made by me on your riding style or skill, just the observation that you come to aid Tyler's anytime there is any scuttle. Like a guard dog on a leash.
  2. Where are these claims of how we ride? I've made none. Oh, wait, more false assumptions.
  3. Someone has to boost the traffic around this place!
  4. More false assumptions from the guy who rides primarily in straight lines for brief short distance bursts.
  5. Of course you don't want brakes that cause lockup. You want brakes that are responsive, and require as little finger input/pull as possible with maximum control. And proper tire selection and air pressure are a given.
  6. Given that one source has a known vortex that follows him and that the other source comes to defend you on pretty much all topics of opposing views, both submissions are rejected from valid experience.
  7. #thehmfichasspoken #micdrop
  8. Welp, after seeing all of the input from the experts, I have decided that I'm going to pull my bone stock oem rolling chassis out of hibernation this afternoon and put it back to use. I can't wait to try out a stock motor, stock shocks, stock tires, and of course the stock brakes again!!! Since of course all of those stock components will work just fine. #locosayssoitmustbetrue #stockrocks #cantwaittoridemystocker
  9. I suppose the next thing you're gonna say is that the oem brake lines are perfectly good too. Certainly there must be no good reason to switch to steel braided lines, right?
  10. Sounds like something in your setup is lacking if you don't experience a difference.
  11. Sounds like you need to take Tyler's class on expert brake setup then.
  12. I think I'm on my 3rd bowl of popcorn now...
  13. So Tyler's opinion is over ridden by the actual experience of others and he responds with insults... Tyler, didn't you break your collar bone riding MX? And then decided screw that for fear of it happening again? How about acting like the Leader of the BHQ rather then the HMFIC.
  14. I know this from my experience: On my Laeger I went with YFZ master and calipers on the front. The Laeger Pro-Trax front end and spindles design allows for a larger diameter rotor then oem YFZ. Laeger sends a wave style rotor that they have built. This setup is considerably superior to oem Banshee. The braking is far stronger and requires far less finger input to apply resistance as well. I would label this difference as night and day in my book.
  15. I had that same bike and year from 12-14 yrs old. Lots of fun on it.
  16. For riding primarily sand, I'd agree.
  17. Beauty and the beast... Mine is on a Raptor 250. That has worked well as she has limited experience. My girls are almost old enough to ride it now too, so it serves multiple purposes for us. Raptor 250, Z400/400EX, Banshee in that order depending upon experience and ability, IMO.
  18. Ha! Lol Okaaaaaay.....
  19. Sounds like your riding buddies 6.0 had pretty mild tuning. Our 6.0 rips compared to our modded 7.3. The 6.4 will show pretty considerable gains over a tuned 6.7. A 6.7 will require more work then just a tuner to get the same gains.
  20. If you get the chance, do so. Night and day different and more fun then a tuned 7.3 or 6.0. They just flat move, with very impressive throttle response too. I was getting your humor. Those tuners and motors just react so much differently and better then previous generations, it's and eye opener.
  21. Have you driven / rode in a tuned 6.4?
  22. Even on the "tow" setting, that truck rock and rolls.
  23. I used an air dremel style grinder with barrel cutter and clearanced mine to accept up to a 16t
