  1. Now no laughing here. I was holding it in my left hand while using a pinky grip on the bars and hangin on tight with the right. It was a TOM TOM unit. I figured it was probably the most accurate reading that I was going to be able to produce short of a radar gun. Things are still pretty smooth on my machine at that speed and it feels as though it would pull a 16t pretty easily and still be real happy. I'd like to try a 17t in the future and see how it feels and what kind of speed the gps unit would actualy read.
  2. How accurate do you suppose a GPS mounted on the bike is? With my Duncan 403 Eliminator motor, 15 / 40 gearing, 18" holeshot MXR6 rears, on pavement I would max out right at 80mph consistently, according to the gps unit I was using. When using the same gps unit in a car with factory sized tires it paces exactly the same as the speedo.
  3. Need some input about weather or not to lube the clutch cable. Some have said lube just collects more dirt and grit, makes it worse and to just replace it with new. Others say lube is great. Need some opinions.....for those that do lube what have you used to give the best results?
  4. My last trip to St. Anthony I ran 13 - 42. I'm running Duncan's 403 Eliminator motor with a full Laegers Chassis with 20 - 10 - 10 skat track edges, 10 paddle. That seemed to work best for me. The trip before I ran 13 - 40, felt a little too tall.
  5. I am looking for the website address that was posted a little while back that can tell you near exact elevations of various places. I am looking to run in a race ten days from now and want to check out the elevation of the race site so I can prepare properly for jetting. Anybody have that address handy?
  6. Have any pictures of your outlaw machine? Are you the one that was trying to sell his awhile back. I have sure enjoyed my Laeger chassis, took some getting used to due to the substantial difference and improvements over the stocker.
  7. Thanks for the info, but I am not looking to buy a Laeger banshee chassis, I have already built one this last year. I was looking to see if there might be some other members here on BansheeHQ who have a Laeger chassis Banshee.
  8. I have a Laeger chassis shee that I built this last year that uses the CR500 rear linkage and thr pro-trax front end. Still working the bugs out of the adjustment with an Elka Elite rear shock. Definitely way better handling than a stock chassis though. Mine is set up primarily for MX and some sand riding. Running the Duncan 403 Eliminator motor.
  9. Just seeing if there is anyone on here who has a Laegers Pro-Trax Banshee Chassis. I built one this last year, very similar to the last PDV machine that Duncan raced, except with Duncans 403 Eliminator motor.
  10. Are You still looking for more info on the Laegers Banshee Chassis? I built one this last year, very similar to the last PDV bike that was raced, except with Duncans 403 Eliminator motor.
  11. Any one out there with a Laegers chassis?
