I was wondering this myself, running 115 octane I get from my boss, purple stuff and it turns my plugs all kinds of colors, mainly like a orange red color, so its kinda hard to tell if jetting is on..... Im running 35 PWKs, stock needle, 2nd clip from top, 50 pilots and 162 mains on a 4mm stock cyl drag port @ sea level...... HOW DO U READ HEAT? If mine is @ idle and i pin it itll bog for just a second then rev out, if i blip it a few times then pin it it revs out fine....air screws?

I have a 2007 zx14 that I hardly ever ride anymore, super fast bike, dubbed fastest production bike ever built....Its the limited edition white with candy red wheels and flames on bike (do a google) I have some very good pics if anyone Is interested. Its only got 5k miles, Power commander 3 with custom dyno tuned map @ 192hp...Muzzy m10 full exhaust, Roaring toys billet grips, custom side mount tag bracket and roaring toys extensions 2-8inches over, bike still looks brand new, I take care of my stuff...Im looking to get 9k for it, thats a steal or possibly trade for another quad with the works, Im looking for something trailable with suspension, a-arms, swinger etc and some cash to boot. Yea Im still running gas for now, I was gonna swap my 35's for some 34 alky PJ's with powerjets, but Jeff @ FAST recommended that I go to 39's gassers for this motor...... So I dont know, I thought it sounded big too, but its his motor lol

im switching from some 35 pwks to 39's i can still use my intak boots on the 39's right? and filters?

hmmm well, just to touch base, got my boss to ship it for me (he knew a ups guy) and cost me 80 insured......at least i got it done....rinky dink town i live in all we have is a ups pick up place and they didnt wanna fool with it I guess....

Yea jeff wanted the motor complete, minus spark plugs, kicker, carbs and shifter....The tote im using isnt very heavy at all i can lift it with one finger, id say maybe 2-3 lbs, its a blue plastic, like storage tote from walmart.....i put the motor in it and packed it full of bubble wrap....this is frustrating as hell, I gota big race labor day weekend and it doesnt look like im going to make it....it has been drained of all oil, coolant etc, I guess im going to call the HUB tomorrow and see what I can find out on it, thanks again guys for all the suggestions, I even told them several of you have used them and they still wouldnt ship it for me. edit: when yall say you used UPS was it UPS Freight or just standard???? I just went to a local UPS drop/pickup place which happens to be a Office supply store we have here in town...

what carrier did u use muddtruck?? I took my motor to USPS and UPS today and neither would touch it, saying it exceeded thier 70lb limit and my motor happened to be 79lbs. Gave me some bullshit 1-800 number to the hub here in Memphis and im supposed to call them tomorrow and see if they ship in containers....WTF!!

IMHO, them resevoirs are junk....I could never keep fluid in mine, i deleted it all together, just keep rad. full and your good to go. Leaked all the time, replaced impeller, still leaked......deleted it, not a prob since

Lets see, i have some 64.5 powder coated dune ported cyl's, pistons rings included.....about 8 passes, This guy drag ported them but after running a set of FAST drag ported cyl's these are not drag ported, they have a smoother delivery with more midrange and not as strong as a hit up top as Jeff's, probally what you would consider a dune port, neways good set of cyl's run stong T5's a few months old, no bluing, no rust, bought brand new jato 3.3 nitro rc car Stock crank I NEED SOME OOF DRAG PIPES! SHEARER OR CPI

I have a noise as well, took of clutch basket and the rivets on back were marred up like something was hitting them....only thing it could be is idler gear im guessing, i can wobble mine back and forth....hmmmmmm, but the noise sounds like its coming from top end!

wow, on a trail bike? so basically you can still trail ride it but not suppose to backload it right? But yea my basket does turn quite a bit without the gear moving, i asked about that in another thread..... so i guess i get to piss the wifey off even more.....sighs billet basket time hahaha
