Something def ain't right..... What's you compression? What size carbs? Race fuel or alky? I just got my 4 mill back from Jeff at FAST and it screams. Having to let out of it in the top of every gear is about my only complaint. It tries to flip me over, very violent. So I can say something ain't right, I can't see your mods if u have em in ya sig, I'm on my phone in lo-fi mode. Who did ya porting? Timings could be off. It could be a number of things?! Clutches slippin, jetting not right etc......

Yea that's what I figured that why I made sure to add tht it was on a cold never started motor. I should be in that same neighborhood, I got a drag port so it may be a tad lower

very interesting thread, if its that cheap id def be interested in knowing what i need to do to run it.....this c12 is gonna be a hole in my wallet for sure, where should i start with my 35 PWKs....I have 165 mains and 50 pilots in it now....at sea level

Well I got her purring like a kitten. Heat cycled it a few times and been putting around the years going through the gears. Has a bad bog off idle. I'm sure that my airscrews tho. Just got a little tuning to do. Thanks again everyone.

I have 19cc domes as well, .018 base gasket if i remember correctly,(ill have to check reciept when i get home). .046 squish, Sea level-200ft and timing is at +7, thats where Jeff set it at and said that he wanted it, im running straight VP c12 in it @ 32:1.......... I checked compression on a cold never started motor and it was 150psi.....guage may be boogered? about right?, its a Oreillie's guage but its a nice one.... i dont know, I have a issue going on right now that i need to get in touch with Jeff about, more on that soon........

I do need to get in Touch with Jeff and find out. I wouldn't mind at all if I could do 50/50. Or run av gas. There's a pump at the municipal airport that sells it but they don't like to sell to public for some reason. Gotta know somebody that know somebody if u know what I mean.

OK i dropped in my 4mill FAST motor today....had everything ready but no race gas..... So My buddy said he had a half a can of VP C12, i was like cool bring it.... Mixed up a gal and kicked until leg was about fall off, checked spark...fine, then poured some of the gas on concrete, and voila, condensation/water in the gas.... and a good bit. So i dumped tank, rinsed with reg gas, took apart carbs and blasted them.... Did i hurt anything in the motor as long as I didnt run it? Also for those that run race gas do yall use c12 on 2 strokes? ive always used it on my streetbikes, just wondering what everyone uses.... Thank

Man hillclimbing is something i would love to get into......if we only had some events here in TN...... we got crazy hills just noone really into it....But theres nothing more i love than climbing hills, and i do mean long, steep hills, no sissy sh!t lol.......Loco im taking it yall have events there in MO?

Actually just getting into dragging! It's been a trailbike but I caught the bug when I went to race in a stock class for the first time. I had fun but it wasn't competitive. That's a track in friendship, TN it's about 45 mins from my house on the other side of brownsville. Nice track tho, I'm going to make some MISS races this year as well as some KY and MO. If u know of any other tracks around lemme know! But the friendship track is decent ogdendirtdrags.com have lights, tree the whole nine. Kawi, never heard of bigboybanshee. Gonna have to look him up. Where are u located?

Now the cylinders were already drag ported by him, he just "updated" the porting. And yes I'm planning on a duneable but Ima see how it shifts now. He said it should shift like butter.

Just had to post that Jeff shipped my motor back today, will be in THURSDAY! Cant wait to see how it rips, Had cylinders drag ported, new pistons, cases ported, 4 mill crank, shift star mod, shift shaft mod, easy springs, Pressure tested and the whole nine.....now i need a swinger and some drag pipes! Ill be ready for next season for sure..... :)Very reasonable price too I might add!

I sent Jeff a PM on here and seems he's having trouble navigating the new site, Told me its not informing him when he receives a PM...But I didnt call him because if he was done he would call me, im not gonna call him everyweek to ask him where he is at? how much longer? etc....So I just sent him a PM and figured he still checked em..... Might wanna do some research, buddy of Mine that works at Oreillies said they are pulling it from the shelves, said something about it coating the motor internally and eating up stuff, ill get more from him tomorrow, we just talked briefly.
