  1. I did alot of nasty trail riding and cut my fronts. It wasnt much worse if any to be honest. As stated, your feet get a little more muddy but thats it. Go for it!
  2. I'm with volfan on this one. What happened and pics of the carnage please?
  3. I agree with the above. I've NEVER worked on a banshee and got my first one a year or so back and it needed rings and bore when I got it. Great bunch of guys here that are very knowledgeable from a simple top end job to full blown alky drag bikes. Jut ask a few questions. I zipped right through it. A rebuild won't take you a hour tops. Very easy to do!
  4. If anyone knows him personally or can contact him for me let him know he has some PM's waiting on him. Thanks again everyone!
  5. Nothing Im ashamed of either. So when tested in life, you run n hide? Never claimed im the toughest walking, just that I dont back down from noone. I have changed for the better since my son was born and I got married. Not everyone has the same upbringing. I say life experiences bring character. I was born in a very rough neighborhood!! You take 80% of people and toss them In the streets with wolves and they'll get chewed up and swallowed. So you adapt. Ive been through all that and then some, shootings, dealing drugs, friends getting killed. Ive got damn near a graveyard on my back from all my dead friends. But i moved to the country, got a Banshee and learning to enjoy a side of life i wasnt shown. That is what this site is about, Banshee's right? But EVERYONE can change, that post wasnt to you or for you.
  6. did strut go with arm? if not im interested
  7. So basically it dries out anything an everything it can? Fuel lines, intakes, orings, gaskets etc. So what about internally, what u cant see? I get what ur saying 5 years is a good amt. Of time on a build. But I know there are rubber orings on my crank will they hold up?
  8. I've sent you a few pm's hit me up!!!!
  9. They are set up for my motor actually. .120 dumps, powerjets, billet bowls the whole nine. Where actually on my motor at one point lol. But can someone anwser the question about reliability? What is the difference in motor reliability vs gas?
  10. I'd change over to B8ES, then check for spark and fuel. Have u played with timing any?
  11. thanks J, i just talked to Jeff briefly and he stated the same (20:1, and .018 gap) he had to take a call from UPS but im gonna call him back to get more info...Is motor reliability a issue on alky? does it affect longevity of the motor vs gas? I cant be rebuilding motor every year lol
  12. Ok guys ne offers or trades? going on ebay soon!
  13. Im thinking about jumping into the alky scene. Its been suggested by my builder and several guys on here. Thing is i havent a clue about it at all. The carbs are setup for my motor, actually were on my motor at one time. Neways whats this purging? and what ratio? anything else i need to know? Thanks guys for helping a alky virgin out here. I did a search on "converting to alky? and got nothing.....Thankks Brad
  14. thanks fellas.....appreciate it
  15. 250 obo.... It looks a little dirty, but its just been sitting up in garage since Summer....
  16. I have a Jato 3.3 Nitro car up for sale, Body is in Good shape, no cracks, breaks etc... THS top end pipe, everything else stock. Included are: all chargers, manuals, spare a-arms etc.....Ran on 20% nitro ran great just no time to play, to many hobbies. first 250 takes it! pictures coming soon!
  17. lmao, yea you'll be back. FAST built me a killer 4mill and with a stock swinger it was unmanagable, kept having to let out the throttle or flip over backwards when powerband hit . Was alot of fun though. I might put it back on lol
  18. Brandon, how would u go bout making a crank? Is it a custom crank or what?
  19. Ive noticed as well that the "neck" on the VF3 are narrowed down especially when using bigger carbs.... The "stuffers" they make are supposed to open that up, neone have experience with them? been looking at em for a while.
  20. Now that is just plain sexxy!
  21. i think u'd be happy with +6 as well, I actually went +8 and although its overkill for any tight technical shyt its still easy to toss around and kick the @$$ out after getting used too, I do some drags and alot of open field riding. +6 would suffice, especially if your planning on a 4mill down the road u'd probally need the extra length. My drag ported 4mill still brings the front up on +8 in dirt with knobbies, im sure sand hooks harder? lol
  22. Maybe he should try a 530 streetbike chain. They'll hold 250hp I know. Or better. That thing is sick!
