  1. Thanks guys. I'll get a plug chop done and post some pics. Also I'm running 35 pwks. In sig! Jeff put it at +7 when he built motor. I haven't touched it. But I'll back it off a tad and see if that helps me. But first Ima get a plug chop done stay tuned for pics
  2. Ok ill change tranny fluid today, mine runs fine on the big end, just bogged really bad at launch...But only after several passes.... first 5-6 or so passes pulled 2nd gear no prob at all. While warm, Even at idle, in neutral, if I smashed the throttle it would bog for a sec then pick up. To lean or fat? Have not done plug chop since I put cpi's on.

  4. Didn't think about that. The c12 is oxygenated and the sunoco isn't. Maybe affect jetting. The gas was mixed minutes before riding and oil was new. Tranny oil has been in it over winter. I'll change it and see if the milk still exsists. Gaskets are new, motor was just completly rebuilt. Also I added CPI oof's, first time running them, had T5s on it, and last but not least timing? I'm at +7, and it was great while motor wasn't hot, seemed after about 20 mins and motor warmed up is when it spitted and sputtered and fell on it's face launching. High timing cause that?
  5. That's what I was thinking. Either that or clutches? Clutch dust? Also what about the missing and falling on it's face? It ran great for the first 20 mins I'm thinking because there was still c12 in tank. And when it ran out and was running pure sunoco it ran like ass. Trying to launch in 2nd it would just bog and act like it wasn't taking gas and when it would clear out it would spitt and sputter. Not bad, but enough to be noticed. Never done that before ever. Buy never ran sunoco either
  6. Ok, I had a 4mill full drag ported motor built by FAST a while back, weather hasnt really allowed me to REALLY ride it until today. Ive been running C12 in it tooling around yard breaking motor in and a couple high speed runs down the street n back. Going by plugs and plug chop jetting is on. Im running 162 mains and 55 pilots at 200ft absl. Got a smokin deal on some Sunoco 110 so switched to that. Had some great weather today and had about a gallon of c12 left in tank, topped it off with Sunoco 110 and made several 1-6th runs in a field near house, LEAVING in 2nd. Ran awesome for about 20 mins, then starting missing a little and falling on its face when I launch in 2nd . This is the first time ive ever ran Sunoco...QUESTION is do yall think it could be the Sunoco? How big of a difference in the c12 and Sunoco? Also what is this milky stuff in pic on my clutch window?
  7. How accurate are the trailtechs? It said I hit 101mph on my 4 mill Fast full drag port. Stock gearing, 20" tires on c12 gas in front of my house on the highway. It didn't feel 100. And I'm not stating I was doing that. Guess I could put gps in my pocket as it records top mph. Trailtech is still holding that 101 too if ya wanna see. Lol

  11. the OP stated "stock" stock the raptor will probally win in 300ft, it will be close and if you can get the holeshot might even pull off a win... With JUST pipes, reeds and carbs I was running 5.0-5.2's on my stock motor shee, and theres were several 700's there and i beat them all in the superstock class...but i had a mean holeshot, I did however get beat by a 700r a few times as well..... my gripe is WHY would you post a thread about a 700cc motor racing against a STOCK 350cc motor.... thats just retarded, wheres the pride in saying you outran a 350cc on a 700cc bike... gtfoh! But OP said 300ft, the race would be close and come out to who got the holeshot, equal riders dont mean nothing, someone's gonna get the jump...and whomever does will probally win...
  12. I second this, i ran trails and 28 pwks worked well for me.... but with your 4 mill and etc id be looking at 30-33's as well....
  13. yea, seriously.... anywhere Ive ever raced in a stock class the 350 will get some spots for the motor size against a 700r.... BUT with that being said Its up to who gets the jump out the hole.... I raced a guy probally 10 times before I went 4 mill on my stocker and if I got holeshot he couldnt reel me in on a 300ft drag. If he got holeshot, same story I couldnt catch him... i dont know....Bone stock no pipes, no nothing Id say 700r. BUT its double the motor so
  14. Yea dont waste your money on a boost bottle, does absolutely nothing. Get you a coolhead, some smaller domes to bump your compression up, and adj. timing plate and pipes. I added my vf3's when i did my carbs so i dont know what improvement it made.

  16. maybe I shouldve been clearer, the sandstars i grabbed for 60 are fronts, I have 10 paddle extremes for the rear.....my bad. But yea this is just to hit the dunes for the first time and have fun...
  17. Ok all you duners, a TN boy is getting ready for his first trip to LS in June, I dont know nothing about sandtires but grabbed a set of ITP sandstars at the local apparel shop for $60 brand new..... are they any count?
  18. NOT necessarily! I sent my whole motor to Jeff at FAST and thats what he set my timing on my 4mill at +7. Ive been running c12 but Im switching over 2 Sunoco 110, got a 5 gl jug full now, havent ran any yet to tell if thats the guys prob or not.
