  1. Well there stators suck, but I believe there timing plates should be fine. Although the billet ones are stronger and won't crack..
  2. I've always liked white plastic, then you could put candy apple green graphics or flames on it.. Gloss black would be fine tho...
  3. Yep, what he said  Seriously, boost bottles are Junk!
  4. 84hp sounds high IMO without some kind of power adder, Turbo, nos, etc.. My buddys made 58hp at Sand trax and it had all the bolt ons, power commander, pipe, etc... It ran really well with piped and some ported banshees, but not cubs... Where in OK did you go..
  5. If I was you, I would recommend adding a small tank and spray gas with your nos.. Jmo
  6. I agree, if your already running race fuel, you might as well give it some compression!
  7. I know people that tare their bike down every year to have everything cleaned and repolished.. Me, I generally just ride in the sand and try not to get it dirty
  8. I seen many people do it and work fine, although I believe it looks better to pc the cases and then polish the cylinders.. Jmo
  9. I have a set of axis w/res on a mx style 250r which work great, and Elka dune edition shocks on the banshee and I believe they are plenty nice for a banshee out on the dunes.. IMO Axis are more towards mx style racing..
  10. Did you purge it with regular premix gas afterwards? I would recommend it especially if your going to let it sit a couple days.. Jmo
  11. Yep, lots of people run castor 927 with alcohol, just make sure you purge it afterwards.. Although I run klotz with my alcohol because I believe it doesn't want to separate like 927 when it sits in the gas can a couple days..
  12. I would just stick with the pro circuits with a stock cylinder mild port, CPI's would be better in my opinion, but if you plan on getting a cub later your best bet would be to save up and get another set of shearers...
  13. Not much if any, stick with the inframes.. If it was a full blown drag bike with a big motor yes I would go with oof's for performance and plus you don't have to listen to them very long.. Jmo
  14. I agree.. Who said you had to have boost ports?? Had many stockers ported by some well known builders and didn't have boost ports.. Matter of fact I have some from Jeff/FAST And the boost ports have been filled in.. Jmo
  15. With your mods, 28mm pwk's would work great..
  16. I agree, I like the elkas better.. Jmo
  17. Yep that's what I run.. 32:1 on gas 927 castor, 20:1 on alky klotz...
  18. A 116hp is a lot for a 421cub, not saying is hasn't been done tho.. I kno McCoy has had his 421 cubs go 3.9's also and believe they were on full drag frames..
  19. That does look pretty cool with the water down below.. Can you jump off the bike and going swimming?
  20. The rollout is the amount of the tire it will expand. So the more RO, the more it will expand, which equals more traction.. The most common is around 71-73.. But I've seen anywhere from 66-80+..
  21. With the cub you should be able to pull 12 paddles with a 70-73 roll out without a problem, but you will be wheelin with the 6 over.. Gearing maybe a 13-41 or 14-43, somewhere in that area.. Jmo
  22. Yep, what he said..
  23. My guess would be the banshee and 700 side by side on the until the big end.. Banshees tend to have more top end in my opinion..
  24. I like to use some cheap sand tires when I go (sand sharks or something) so if I tare them up it doesn't matter.. Supposed to be some people down at whitefield Sunday..
