The bottom case studs are the hardest to get out, even the snap-on stud puller will strip them.. Take your time and work with them, maybe use a lil heat.. Other than that good luck!
Very true, I've seen people time after time with big motors in a stock chassis go to the track a get it handed to them by a small motor whether in a stock chassis or drag chassis.. You can really just get to much power for a stock frame if not set up perfectly.. Jmo..
It could depend on alot of things to get the best performance out of your setup.. For example, are you drag racing, your weight, tire size, tranny, etc.. But yea a 14-42 should work.
I run klotz super-tech in alcohol and gas and never had any problems, but castor 927 is really good oil too. My experience with 927 is I wound recommend purging it after every ride with alcohol bc it separates unlike klotz when it sits.. Jmo.. 50:1 is a lil lean to me on gas, I run 32-40:1, and around 24-28:1 on alky..
My buddy has a set of cubs that I know for a Fact kim ported, and don't have his name on them.. So not all the cylinders have his name on them. But I do see having kim's name on them do help when selling to others... Have they been ran and I'm guessing they don't come with pistons?
I agree, I don't know why people always liked dmc's.. Personally I like t5's better than dmc's on a stock bike.. Cpi's and shearer's are just damn good pipes, hands down!!!
I would just go ahead and keep the bike the way it is and save your 5000 up in a year and buy a banshee that will run in the 6's... You can buy alot of bike now a days for 5000... JMO !!
