  1. the chain is on top of the botton roller and with the +4 you might want to add another link to the chain so it gives it a lil slop or if to chain isnt trying to come off the sproket you might want to leave it alone?
  2. what hee said take a god look at your Orings and inspect them you might be able to reuse them I have a couple of times
  3. dont need axle and carrier anymore but still need a nice swinger and billet sproket hub/brake hub

  6. if you get any of those pipes for a stock bike you are gunna loose some power it will pick up close to top end and have no bottom end at all. what I would do is watch around in the build and find parts along the way keep your eyes open you never know what your gunna get for a good deal so keep the cash on hand
  7. they kinda look like the old school dyno port pipes if they are they are 10+ years old
  8. just run the oem ones on it I tried running 6 hard springs works great harder to pull the lever back and then the 3 oem and 3 hard same results little easyier to pull the clutch back and finaly oem's and they do the same thing. the fingers on the lock out are what gives the results your looking for no sence in wasting money
  9. that is one of the sickest looking 250's I have seen in a while good luck with the sale
  10. if you want I will let you grind on mine but you will have to take into consideration its for a 4mil and the deck height will be cut down a hair it might make you think a little more lol but it would probably save me the money of buying all the equiptment idk its up to you
  11. ya I think it wouldnt be a bad idea at all although like you said it would probably start to piss the big name shops off a little bit especially it you ended up doing some great work but I would be interested.
  12. ya I guess I just need to sit down and start trying to draw up some plans and do more research on the whole thing it would help alot to have one of those port tools too but we will see what happens. I just dont want to dig into it without some sort of idea what I am doing and be out a set of jugs hell who knows maybe you will have great results and start porting for extra cash. ohh and thanks for the spacers they worked out great
  13. everything is looking preaty good so far im really curious to see how it turns out maybe that will inspire me to start grinding on mine
  14. ok I was doing some thinking and instead of the +6 swinger I would like to do for a +2 just so I dont build something I cant take on trails and shit like that still need just about everything
  15. shit man keep it take the motor out and throw in a R1 motor little bit of mods to do but that would give you plenty to smoke that 791
  16. is it for a stock carrier or round house
  17. up up and away
  18. I have had good luck with 19cc domes but I have allways had a trued and welded crank if you wanna run 111 I would say just put some 18cc domes in it unless you plan on running alcohol in the future and if you do I would definatly weld it for that
  19. if you decide to part it I might want the straight cut gears and basket. I saw it on CL last night good luck with the sell
  20. uhh you mean he would much rather do my cylinders for cash he could spend?
  21. you should tell him to write me up a port map for a trail/dune job on a 4mil or just see how much the job would be arent they over in Tacoma?
  22. sounds like I should try and get ahold of him cause I have never done it before I have just been trying to find alil info that would point me in the right direction for atleast a good starting base. I know patroit does some nice work around the area I just dont want to fork out the money for the work right now
  23. ya Im sure they are if I paid 500 bucks to have someone do the work I would hesitate in giving it away for free lol but here is a table I found on the next thread down if anyone else is interested PORT TIMING VALUES FOR RPM RANGE. THE FIRST DURATION IN THE XXX-XXX FORMAT IS THE MIN FOR THAT RPM. EXAMPLE: TO GET TO 9000 RPM YOU HAVE TO HAVE AT LEAST 184 EXHAUST AND 123 INTAKE EXHAUST TIMING 7500 RPM 176-178 8000 RPM 180-182 8500 RPM 183-185 9000 RPM 184-186 9500 RPM 186-188 10000 RPM 190-192 10500 RPM 193-196 11000 RPM 196-198 TRANSFER TIMING 7500 RPM 120-123 8000 RPM 121-125 8500 RPM 122-126 9000 RPM 123-127 9500 RPM 124-128 10000 RPM 127-131 10500 RPM 129-133 11000 RPM 130-134
