alot of places dont mess with checking all the vins over in Wa they do in Or ive heard not so much not sure of Idaho and utah thowe the majority of these bikes have lots of different bikes ive went through 3 sets of cases in 4 years as long as your #s aren't stolen your good to go

you can also run blaster pistons in it if the dome will let you and your at a 66+mm piston they have a different degree dome and is said to make more power -
check jetting the adjusters make sure all settings on carbs are even you may have a bad pto seal if trany side is rich
